Huoommmm …. No, Master Barliman, the Swan Knights won’t be out in March …. rhuoomm … sorry that I caused that misunderstanding … hom … the plural in my last entry was wrong … I was referring to the MX when I said “Master O’Brian suggested to have [those] that figure
released the end of March” …. huoommm …. sorry again …. maybe it happened because of those frozen twigs that try to meet the correct keys on the board …. hom … or my senility …March 26, 2008 at 3:36 pm #1799ESTEL wrote:Barliman wrote:Sadly I just haven’t got the time myself to paint up any of the Corsairs in time for this contest, which may be just as well – Bob’s cat hasn’t forgiven me for relieving his tail of a few hairs when I refreshed my brush last time.Hey Hoo!!
All this talk about riff raffs!
I was given some information by some secret sources, that the deadline of the painting contest could be put at the end of April instead of March. Seems that many more folk had problems with the delivery of the corsairs and then glueing them (undercoat them in necessary) and then paint paint paint. So please another drink to drown my woe about that snow!
NAMARIE
estelReally? Damnit. Guess I should go buy two then!

March 28, 2008 at 7:07 pm #1816Speaking of snow, it’s turning into a bit of a Long Winter here! Another 3 inches of snow last night, now melting off…. It does get tiresome. Nice to have an extension on the Corsair deadline. I might actually get some finished now!
March 28, 2008 at 7:14 pm #1817Remember you only have to paint two of them.
March 29, 2008 at 6:25 am #1818Only two? Hmmm….so. where is that dratted cat? I’m sure the tip of his tail needs another trim.
April 3, 2008 at 9:06 pm #1839Aha, I’ve just got my MX Imrahil in the post, and what a truly excellent figure he is. But whose head is that he’s got under his arm, Master Tree? – unless I’m going mad (always a distinct possibility), if you look inside the helmet you’ll see a definite face looking back at you…
April 4, 2008 at 11:53 am #1843Huoommmmm … unfortunately I did not receive a single figure of those MXs so far …. huommm. Seems to be the same that those commissioning MXs are the last to receive the figures … huomm … strange strategy that is, methinks …. rhuoommm … anyway, thank you for the nice words, Master Barliman … hom … about that face, well, I have to consider …. rhuom.

As I’ve posted on the Mithril site this figure is a ‘Jewel in the Crown’ for me, there has always been something about the Knights of Dol Amroth and Imrahil that got the imagination fired up ever since I was a kid and first read the book.
Superb, excellent figure .
April 4, 2008 at 7:14 pm #1845I quite agree. And the figure is one of The Man’s very best. A gem.
April 7, 2008 at 4:02 pm #1846Hi Jason,
Have a beer and read your messagesApril 7, 2008 at 4:15 pm #1847Thanks for the beer, boy was I thirsty! As I read my message I have sent you a couple in return.
Oh, and hello everyone!April 7, 2008 at 4:33 pm #1848We don’t see you horsey boys in here very often. If you’ve parked your horse in the stable I’d suggest you padlock him too – we’ve had a bit of horse-stealing round here lately, as you may have read (though I’ve always wondered who took the one horse that was actually stolen, since that Southerner was still hiding at Ferny’s place…).
April 7, 2008 at 7:47 pm #1849I think my horse can take care of himself. I’ve been busy all over Rohan and it is sometimes hard to make it up to the Pony to catch a break, so it is good to be here for a bit. This round is on me!
April 7, 2008 at 9:23 pm #1853If anyone is still sober enough to wander by Master Samwise’s Gallery there are a couple of images in there that may take someone’s fancy .
David.
April 8, 2008 at 3:27 am #1858Hiccupp! Oh yeah! Nice job! Wait where am I? HELLO, BARTENDER! I need a refill please!
April 9, 2008 at 1:48 pm #1862My cup is still empty! Where is that bartender? He should be around here somewhere. Well, should I reach behind the counter for my own refill?
April 9, 2008 at 2:39 pm #1863Yes, just serve yourself. Who knows where he is. Nob might be in the stables or chasing his cat…
April 9, 2008 at 2:46 pm #1864Sorry, I couldn’t find Bob and had to feed that d**n horse myself. I’ll see to your mug now.
Now I must just dash off and see what shennanigans are happening over on the Fellowship front. It was all squirrels and trolls when I last looked…
April 9, 2008 at 3:24 pm #1865Dashes off and doesn’t come back. Could you fill up my glass too Marshal of the Mark? Thank you very much and cheers to you too…
April 10, 2008 at 1:01 am #1867Sure thing Master Caster and cheers to you too.
