I also have a very high interest, though perhaps a severe lack of solving capability …
September 28, 2009 at 12:55 pm #7165Master Ent, the riddles are great, even if I don’t partisipate because of having a lack of knowlge regarding Master Tolkien. But there is always something new to learn. I always say, a day you haven’t learned something new is a lost day!
I love the minis, but that’s more or less it.
Bring it on Master Ent, I do my best to take part in it! If I win and the price are the dwarfes, I know someone who would love to take them of my hands….September 28, 2009 at 1:09 pm #7166Riddles are good.
September 28, 2009 at 1:24 pm #7167What is Tolkien’s world without riddles?
September 28, 2009 at 2:42 pm #7169I agree, I love riddles too… but I suggest that you post in advance to tell us “when” the riddle will be asked… so that players do not answer too late if they can’t login…. not knowing there was a riddle to solve.
I like the idea
September 28, 2009 at 3:49 pm #7173Huoommmm … let me think a moment …. rhuoommm … so there’re six being(s) interested so far … huomm … some others have not read this … rhuoommm … hom … so, twelve or thirteen altogether … hom … that’s nice company …. huommm
Right, Master Gildor, I very much appreciate your criticism as I also was aware of that problem and tried to cope with it last year … huoomm … more or less successfully ….
huoommm … but, as I said before, I don’t dare to have all this discussed in The Pony’s tabroom … rhuoommm … Master Barliman might be annoyed about all this fuss about riddles … rhuoommm … last year I ended up here as a Christmas tree, if you remember … a hard time that was, believe me ….
Rhuoommmhoommmm … hom … er, to cut it short, I tell you that the Christmas riddle again will be placed in The Mathom House of Michel Delving … I’ll try to find another room for that … rhuoommm … ahhh, sorry … forgot to thank you fellers for supporting a crazy idea … though still there’s no idea what it will be about … rhuoommm … there’s time – I’ll haste over to that House of Delving’s Michael … or was it Michel Diving? … anyway … some spidery webs have to be gotten rid of … rhuoommm … language, where’s language? ….September 28, 2009 at 3:59 pm #7176you’re loosing your entish master tree… make yourself at hom at the mathom house… I’m sure you’ll find a worthy company over there

October 2, 2009 at 5:31 am #7225very queer around these parts. Nobody speaks a word..
October 2, 2009 at 6:12 am #7226I hope that’s because they’re too busy drinking. Or maybe they’re massaging their brains ready for the riddle-game?
October 2, 2009 at 6:38 am #7227I think that is just collective recovering after another one unexpected party
… and brain massage could one of the consequence ….
October 2, 2009 at 7:24 am #7228A very warm welcome to our lates member number 57 Gavin Doran!
Welcome Master Gavin D. I’ll have a scrumpy please!October 2, 2009 at 7:31 am #7229…. welcome master Doran… !!!! welcome to the best inn in the Middle – Earth 😆
October 2, 2009 at 7:53 am #7230The drinks are on Master Doran (because I know none of the rest of you are ever likely to pay for a round).
October 2, 2009 at 8:22 am #7231You got it Master Barliman!
October 2, 2009 at 5:06 pm #7235Your faithful Ranger has just joined the elite Gold Fellowship! (I couldn’t resist since I will be getting my “Aragorn with Palantir” figure!).
Is there a secret handshake or password?
October 2, 2009 at 6:04 pm #7236No, all you have to do is buy a round of drinks and pay your tab. Promptly.
October 2, 2009 at 6:57 pm #7237Congrats to Master Estel for his winning Haldir. At last a great elven charecter has won. That pleases me!
Can´t wait to see the result. I hope it won´t be Lars who will realize the exchangable parts . . .October 2, 2009 at 7:44 pm #7238I too am looking forward to seeing Haldir in the Mithril range (at last).
I wouldn’t think that the suggested extra parts should cause any problems so long as The Man is happy to design them – I don’t imagine that they complicate the mould-making or casting processes unduly, and the extra metal involved would be a few pence-worth at the most.
October 2, 2009 at 9:26 pm #7239Nice to hear that we would have one more elf on our collections…. Haldir is right choice for any elvish diorama
If I could imagine his character in my mind it would be like glorious warrior with a long bow and shining armor… anywayOne beer for all for choosing the Haldir !!!!! 😆
