As for rumours, maybe there’d be some if The Man got round to sending the pictures of the next Helm’s Deep release that he promised me some months ago… And on reflection, things have gone very quiet all round on the next ‘M’ releases.
January 5, 2010 at 1:47 pm #8559mmmh, we are waiting for these, Master Barli, indeed, we are waiting. If I remember well, there is only one single regular mithril m-release published accross 2009.
A bit less, isn´t it. Some people will tell, that there were be a lot of “other” releases so far. They are right.
But if I remember also there are about five releases of Helm´s Deep planned. Do we have to wait four more years . . ?
I should think about having some practical courses in patience somewhere in the depths of Fangorn . . .January 5, 2010 at 10:21 pm #8565Huooommmm … so the Archer is considering about trying to keep some impatience under control … rhuuommm … that’s good, as that is what good archers need … huomm … though it means to have some practise with it ….
January 6, 2010 at 9:00 am #8568…. new archers and Rohan heavy calvary will be nice to see….. soon… I hope it will be… !
January 7, 2010 at 2:55 am #8569I need a new wire brush.
Trying to de-scudify the remaining Rohan warriors (avec le pea soup undercoat). Some of it has sloughed off. Lots of it has not. My last wire brush died a death a few days ago. Time to get a new one tomorrow.
This is frustrating.

January 7, 2010 at 7:49 am #8570Don’t I know it. But happily I dealt with mine a while ago, so it’s now no more than a painful memory.
January 7, 2010 at 2:56 pm #8571Huooommmm … that’s why I’m very much relieved about the decision concerning the ‘Unexpected Party’ … hoooommmm … very much indeed …
January 7, 2010 at 3:20 pm #8572Maybe your relief is based on the decision using no primer at all, Master Tree . . . Let´s have hope.
Motto: better than bad primer is NO primer . . .January 7, 2010 at 4:07 pm #8573Oh another thing. Maybe you haven´t got an idea how to spend all your money.
There is a solution: have a look here:http://www.wetanz.com/eowyn-and-the-nazgul/
or here:

January 7, 2010 at 4:18 pm #8574rhuoommmm …. I think this is the only reasonable decision that had to be made at the moment as the UP is planned to be released early this year … huomm … so the primer problem does not seem to be solved by now … hoomm
huommm … as for that ‘Eowyn and Nazgûl – thing’ … ridiculous … huomm .. bronze? … why? …
alas, just forget it for several reasons … huoommmJanuary 7, 2010 at 4:42 pm #8575I seem to recall that someone has posted this item in the Pony before, and I couldn’t afford it then either….
January 7, 2010 at 5:18 pm #8576Master Barliman; do you have any of that global warming in Bree that you could spare for Master O’Brien. It seems the production of mithrils could slow and without some August heat the Unexpected Party may be later than expected.
January 7, 2010 at 7:04 pm #8577This would be really un…expected. But we have discussed such a possibility and its fantastic linguistic implications in much detail, last year.
January 7, 2010 at 7:11 pm #8578No global warming here at the moment. It’s sort of minus 6 degrees as I speak. Anyone for frozen scrumpy on a stick?
January 7, 2010 at 7:27 pm #8579-6 here too.
Rather mild, I think
January 7, 2010 at 9:16 pm #8580But I’ll bet you can’t get scrumpy on a stick there.
January 7, 2010 at 9:53 pm #8581I would prefer a hot toddy and one for the mysterious mrmedic99 if he happens by.Maybe we could also have some more wood on the fire Master Barliman.
January 8, 2010 at 4:06 am #8582Scrumpy on a stick? Is that a popcicle for adults?. I don’t eat them as ale is my prefered alcoholic flavor. Tonight it is -25c where I’m at in Minnesota (some areas not too far away are -30c). Who knows how cold the windchill is.
Nob, another ale, no need to chill the glass!
January 8, 2010 at 7:58 am #8583It’ll take a while to chip the ale out of the barrel, so you’ll have to be patient I’m afraid. And it’ll have to be on the rocks when it comes…
