Those words are from new newsletter come to our e-mail few minutes ago… nice theme to discussion….

This month marks the end of five years (and the beginning of the next five) of the Gold Status Fellowship club, and Lars has suggested a Mithrilfest in late September possibly to celebrate it. I am awaiting Chris Tubb’s confirmation that he could attend and I will publish more information. If you are interested in meeting your fellowship friends and Chris and taking part in sculpting/painting/diorama building and photographing workshops and having some celtic entertainment then email me and let me know. This is still just an idea but with enough support we will make it happen.

I will definitely go for it (if the calendar allows me to quit family for few days).

I suggest Master Gildor raises a new Topic for such event.

this is an idea yes… still with so few information regarding a mithrilfest… I don’t know what to begin this topic with…
besides, this is supposed to be a GF only event… opening a public topic talking about it in the pony could be a leakage? I don’t know but it’s certainly a good idea to have a topic somewhere to discuss it… question is.. where..
I wish I could attend too… though I don’t know if my time and my money will allow it… :( it mostly depends on financial matters at the moment..

Huoommm … please mind that Master O’Brian just tried to sort out about this idea … huomm … as far as I can see … huommmrhuoomm … so nothing’s settled … just read the latest newsletter before you start hasting your thoughts …. rhuoommm … though a very good idea that is, indeed … huom ….

Maybe we can organize a mithrilfest for ourselves . . .
That would be less expensive travel to green Ireland.

If the thing was in August, I’d go (the sister is getting married), but I can’t really hang about till the end of September. There’s cats to take care of, you understand.

This is a great idea, and would be nice even if Chris couldn’t attend (best if he could), but needs to be determined months, or even a year, in advance so that we all could make the best arrangements

well indeed that could help… personnaly, visiting Chris in London would be easier than going to Cork lol (I have some family to host me in London, but nobody at Cork)

Unless Mithril plans to have “logistic solutions” to “host the event” which includes meals, and rooms… like many other shows/events do…. but these kinds of “organised events” with organised hostings only apply to MASS events usually with many thousands people….

… I have possibility to fly with Ryanair from Zadar for few euros.. everyday flight from Pula airport few km from my town and rent a car to Cork… I hope there are some hotels in Cork… and I have connections in tourist business and tour-operators so they could me arrange room prices for agents ( usually 20% less ) … not so expensive and no so impossible… my wife’s give me “green light” and we will see…. have a nice day to all…. let’s enjoy with plans about this possible event… :)

Master Gildor said that this “little diorama is superb” I do not want to contradict. I think that The Man is improving his way of sculpting eagles very successfully

                                rhuoommm…hom … that’s it …

and thank you very much indeed, Master Theobald for your precious time preparing these photographs.
That is the reason for me to order this Eagle! This little diorama is really superb!
So your time was worth spending it . . .
                                      Thank you sir !

Huuuooommm … now what? … Our dear Master Barliman returned from holidays safely and even enjoyed the time he spent in the north … rhuuoommm … so far I have not witnessed any comment from him about the present state of his “Prancing Pony” … rhuoomm … though he should be first in line to care about it …. huoommm … Nob has left, as we know … rhuoommm…
and I can understand that …. huom … but what about cleaning and swiping tables around here? … not to mention the floor … alas … rhuoommm … so, what does he do, our dear barkeep? … gggrruuoomm … telling us having to go North just for business …. huoomm … then forgetting to invite us regulars here for a Heavy and a wee dram …. rhuoommm …. if you know what I mean …. huoomm … mind, that I did not mention doormats … huoomtidom

What am I supposed to comment on? The place is in just the same comfortable, homely mess as it was when I left. Except the doormats, of course, which tend to reflect the state of the Tree’s overlarge feet. What more need I say? And as for Heavy…ugh! I’m a light ale man myself (scrumpy has too many carbohydrates in it, alas, and if I drink too much I don’t fit behine the bar.)

In the meantime, I think I’ll go and purchse a few Mithrils while the Bree penny/Euro exchange rate is looking healthier. Long may that last!
