Chartreuse! Me wants!
In other news, HARP Skirmish went off to its new home. 35,000 words and 76 pages of pure nerdiness.
Now to get back to work. Also, my mother arrives from Ireland today. Must go clean up!
October 15, 2010 at 5:18 pm #12372HARP Skirmish => Nice! Congrats! Must have!
October 15, 2010 at 5:55 pm #12373Now we have to worry about layout, last minute edits, some dumbass mistakes I am sure I made and finding some pretty peek-tures for it.
October 15, 2010 at 7:14 pm #12374I’m always here somewhere, Master Archer, so you keep out of my secret places. I’ve set traps…
And let’s celebrate all being nerds together. Except, aren’t nerds supposed to understand computers? I never know what mine is up to. At the moment it keeps sending me Viagra adverts from someone else’s address book, so I thought I might as well buy some and put them in the scrumpy mix – it might give it a bit more body.
October 16, 2010 at 5:30 am #12375Ahhhh, computers. Well, my last one died, and now I am back, with a new one.
October 16, 2010 at 2:01 pm #12379well we’d tend to be more geeks than nerds , gentlemen
October 16, 2010 at 4:07 pm #12381We’re certainly all four-letter words of some sort or another. Except Nob, who’s only big enough to be a three-letter word.
October 16, 2010 at 8:17 pm #12382I share your thoughts Master Estele… I need also something for this frustrations… like for example possibilities to be chosen figure for 19,95 Euros “Warg leader” in this MS GF voting round
October 16, 2010 at 10:23 pm #12385… that’s why I don’t suggest “common” ideas to the GF ranges… but this debate has happened many times already… you’d have to convince those who suggest them… who will say “better to have it in GF than to not have it at all, considering the lack of regular releases”…. what can you say against that… nothing…
October 17, 2010 at 3:53 am #12386If we only suggest rare ideas, they’ll be original but no one will vote for them. Common ideas at least have the chance of creating some support.
Of course, the “sweet spot” is a familiar idea that might be presented in some unique fashion.
But once again, the rider might be an M-series type suggestion…that may never get an M-series. There’s only four “wolf riding” mithrils floating around that I know of. Two are long out of production. One was a special offer which is sometimes common on Ebay, and sometimes not common at all.
Frankly, I think this will be a lovely model and we’ll be very pleased to paint him up.
October 17, 2010 at 7:03 am #12387I haven’t even received a newsletter…..
October 17, 2010 at 9:26 am #12388it appears gentlemen, that lately the newsletter is rather posted in the taproom than in your emails lol
October 17, 2010 at 9:42 am #12390May I post a picture of that orc for those who haven´t received the newsletter yet and to make up their mind to follow Master Estel or not . . .

October 17, 2010 at 10:56 am #12393Well, I guess he may ‘only’ be a wolf-rider, but he’s a rather nice one. Like Master Gavin, I look forward to painting him. And unlike most ‘specials’ I may very well take advantage of Mithril’s ‘second figure’ discount on this occasion.
October 17, 2010 at 12:20 pm #12394I agree to you, Master Barliman. Just thought the same and I was positively surprised about the orc´s under-lip !!!!
Much better than the “mighty-wolf”-rider from that salute event . . .
pOctober 17, 2010 at 1:56 pm #12399Huoommmm … still I don’t comment about figures I cannot touch with my hands and eyes … rhuom … as for that salute-wolf-rider it still is a wonderful figure to me … huoomm … still best of them four … alas .. hooommmm … though in terms of proportion the latter one seems to ride a warg and this one now seems being ridden by a warg … rhuom … if you know what I mean … huooooommm … anyway … there might be imps riding doormats … but that’s another matter … rhuoommm … cheer up, lads, as autumn passes winter-time is coming up … huom … time for painting in candle light … rhuoommmmm … or so …
October 17, 2010 at 2:02 pm #12400Huoomm … sorry, I forgot to mention that I’m back again … huom … never mind, Master Barliman, you can keep mine bar tabs further on, so don’t worry, please … huooommm …
October 17, 2010 at 3:38 pm #12403Welcome back, Master Tree. I hope the autumn sun was pleasing up in the North?
October 17, 2010 at 6:34 pm #12405Huoommm … yes, Master Barliman, it was until last Friday … huoomm … but by now it doesn’t seem better in Bree … rhuoommm … so what about one bowl of that clear-clean-non-sparkeling-honey-coloured-liquid that I do prefer … huoommm … topped-up, please … yes … thank you …
ahh, and another bowl of that liquid for our Elf … rhuoommm …October 19, 2010 at 9:47 pm #12442(shaking the dust off my feet) Master Bartender, I need something mighty strong to drink!
I have been away far too long!!!!
