… in Croatia we have same problem Master Estele…. dear mithril fathers… please glass of milk Master innkeeper…. for all fathers in our club with children under the 2 years old….

If you’re daft enough to have children then you’re going to suffer a lot as time goes by, so this is only the beginning I imagine. Which is why I only have pets (i.e. Bob’s cat and Nob).

it seems I won a fight today…

well, what do you think?
Do you think we could slightly diminish the activity of MMP to let the official board get some more? Would Barliman, Theobald or others agree to take part in the adventure and be moderators of the OFFICIAL boards to do things you do perfectly well here?

moderate and animate general discussions threads, rarities and pictures threads, international oriented threads

The first step is to make to official board alive and living , stimulate the official discussion boards, do some dusting…

Next moves I think will be the translations of several Mithril official parts I will post to Michael…

things are on the move…. AT last… let’s help mithril

ohhh I have a good news too…

I managed to find back ALL the emails from back in time in 2005… when I first joined the MMP_discussion email list , the very origins of MMP…
I still have all emails between all members of the MMP at that time… some have joined us here but some may have been lost… or lost interested in mithril whatever.

along with all the discussions lead by Marc Campbell (Mithrandir) there were others… some of whom participated in the Frumgar project (I was there back at that time but did not manage to join in the effort )

I could fetch all those emails and mass advertise if they want to join us back now….
us… but also Mithril in general once things are a bit better in the official boards

Well I think it would be difficult to diminsh the activities here. I am 97% present here because of the existence of discussion threads like rarities, art galleries,
conversions- threads and so on. Exactly this is the reason. Though the peaople are more friendly . . .
There can only be ONE place. If we tear all the fantastic things into the main board (where they DO NOT exist), everything will exist twice, very simply saying.
Otherwise it is good to have a place “beyond” the official site.
Difficult, as mentioned.
But it is a fact, that the official site needs a refreshment very urgent.
And yes: let´s help mithril! ( . . if mithril WANTS the help . . . )

I think that Master Archer has a valid point. It would be a shame to dilute the activity on MMP by needing to do much the same things on the Mithril site too. As for myself, you may notice that I’m sometimes absent for many hours if not several days at a time – basically because of pressures of work – and if I had to share my time with a second website my presence might get even thinner (who was that who said it needs to?). I shall have to give it some thought.

Huoooommmm … well indeed I’m already frequenting that German-thread on that Goldie-Board very often to keep up interest of those members who don’t dare to pass on thoughts in a foreign language ….. rhuooommmm … for a long time Master O’Brian was not very much pleased about that, because he couldn’t know what we were talking about there …. huooommm … in the Ent he gave in to that, when I could confirm that everything being talked about there is alright … huom.

As for those old MMP sites … good news … rhuoomm … somewhere there you’ll come across an old tree, which is me …. huoommmm … Master Gildor, reminding me of that …. huoomm … did you also find out who was the one asking you how that lost MMP site by Marc (Mithrandir) could be continued and being kept up again? … huoommmmmmm … ? … ??? … tell it, please … hom.

I still have this email Theobald about you asking me to host the MMP once the old one died of brutal death… I also remember my private discussions with Marc when I began developping Mithril Faerylands. when he gave me the MMP source codes ofthe old site… to help me create my own database but this was later because I don’t think back in 2005 the MMP website did not exist yet, it appears in 2006 I think? can’t remember…

Destiny has made it that the projects melted….

I remember about the old MX project of Feanor … an utopy… by Matt Bates, and Dave Long… and my own animosity against the MX project at first when I faced Matt and opposed the project at first…

Oh and about the Mithril german forum, I’d be curious to know what was said there, it was rather active lately what was it about?

Great news Master Gildor… great news…. congratulations for this small ( or maybe big ) victory for all of us…. but like a Master Turambar says I more than official board spend my time on our MMP… but if you made some more interesting activities there I will be more active there… till than I will only support new ideas for MS and other good ideas… I think that you must for a first steep move your pool for regular M ideas to official board and promote this idea to all members ( there of course )

…every new good move could be strange but only for short time…

I will, as Wendy says with great joy left all my pictures from our gallery to official board… and I think that all of our artists from here would like to do this.

Thanks for the round dear Wendy …thanks in the name of us… new mithril fathers… an drink for you… !

Go now to do something new on GF dear friend…. but after healing your shoulder…
