November 26, 2010 at 1:38 pm #13531There are 5002 posts before this one, so It looks like Master Archer won the taproom lottery.
November 26, 2010 at 2:24 pm #13534No, it was Master Thingol, so he gets the free drinks – the rest of you have to pay (as if you ever will…).
November 26, 2010 at 2:37 pm #13535I see why some say it is MAster thingol now ==> Master Gildor mini mini mini bug fixing is required !
the counter in viewforum.php is n-1 than the real counter.funny funny. cheers to Master gardener then !
November 26, 2010 at 3:05 pm #13536Huoommm … just as I said … huom … “free drinks” for Master Thingol? … rhuomm … that’s plural, isn’t it? … huoommm … anyway, I’ll have to pay for a nice bowl of … errr … hoommm … you know what, Master Barliman …. huom …
[[grumbles] … so he ‘s still keen on heaping up them coiny things, meseems … huom … d****d, I wish I had any of those funny things left somewhere … hooommm … ]Huoommm …. ahem, Master Barliman, as for them flat-and-round-metal-coiny-things you seem to collect … huommm … errr, fact is, so to say … huommm … you see, trees don’t wear breeches, you know … huommm … nor boots, right? … hom … yes, you’re guessing right, Master Barliman, very well … huommm … so where to carry those things? … huomm … I just had a look … well, what can I say? … there’s no hack-silver in me twigs and branches … huoom

or would you rather have me cleaning them trodden-furry-biting-greyish-snarling-smelly-rugs again? … huooommmm … what else can an Ent do? …. huooooooommm … No, Master Barliman, no! …. rhuoommm … though, the more I consider …. rhhrrrr…huom … alright, the Christmas tree …. huoommm … I know …. no word, no movement, just standing around silently for about a week in the Pony …. huoommm … I do remember well … rhuom … one of the hardest jobs I ever had …. huooommmrhuom … so what, Master Barliman?November 26, 2010 at 3:27 pm #13538Well standing round in the Pony is what you’re good at, Master Tree. Nob will be getting the lights and baubles out any day now.
November 26, 2010 at 3:42 pm #13539Huoooommmmm …. that’s what I really was afraid of …. hoomm … same procedure as last year, Master Barliman? …. huoommm … “any day now” you said …. alas I might add “I will be released” as the bard once said … rrhhuooommm …

November 27, 2010 at 7:56 pm #13578Please master Barliman, if you have some real refreshing drinks from the south with anis, I would have 2 of it.
Sneaking in this attic has put my thirst so high !November 27, 2010 at 8:37 pm #13581Sorry, I haven’t, so you can’t. I’ve got a bottle of green gunk here, called absinth I think it is, or you can have one of Nob’s aniseed balls (not getting personal, you underrstand), but that’s about as close as I can get – to Nob or this “anis” stuff you mentioned. Or you could try some of the drain cleaner – probably tastes much the same. Otherwise we only have strong, manly drinks, such as triple-X scrumpy and, er, triple-X scrumpy. Or you could try the triple-X scrumpy.
November 27, 2010 at 8:37 pm #13582[Ah, there you are Barli, please, I am still waiting for some liquid. You know hobbits do not like waiting when it comes to throat…] –> posted while you were talking to me. sorry.
