January 11, 2011 at 4:55 pm #14487We could put a bottles of beer on round table – White beer for white council ! Master Caster can produce small inn accessories specially for this occasion
This could be another part of this competition cheers !

Which one do you recommend? – Mrs B likes weissbier, even though she’s not one for alcohol, but she’s never been able to recapture the taste of one she had in a cafe in Paris a few years back. Unfortunately she didn’t think to make a note of the name of it at the time, and can only remember that it ws a German brew – which isn’t really a lot of help (or much of a surprise).
January 13, 2011 at 10:48 am #14494Very quiet around here….
Where is everyone gone? Are all of you coming to OZ to help with the big cleanup?
Til you back I’ll have something STRONG to drink….January 13, 2011 at 10:50 am #14495I join you, ma friend. Also with cleaning up the mess . . .
January 13, 2011 at 1:06 pm #14496I imagine you’ll want a whiskey….presumably without water?
January 13, 2011 at 1:57 pm #14497You ask me, famous barkeeper?
Absolutely.
But I would prefer not the –ey-form. It had to be a liquid from that Islay-island.
Master Theobald knows what I am talking about . . . 😎January 13, 2011 at 2:05 pm #14498I’m afraid I prefer my whiskey to be from the ermerald island (hence my spelling it as whiskey).
January 13, 2011 at 2:32 pm #14499I don’t care how it’s spelled, I care about the taste Master Barliman! I’m sure as a Barkeep you might have a bit of experience with these liquids and know what you are taliking about. So, please bing me one each and I can tell you what I prefer. 😆
Cheers Master Turambar!January 13, 2011 at 3:20 pm #14500Hi, all
I´ve been very busy at work this days, but I have found some time to sneak of it and come to have a drink…I´m not a big fan of Whiskey/whisky, so i´ll have a cold beer better
January 13, 2011 at 3:36 pm #14504Another ale for a thirsty hobbit master Barliman please !
And by the way, nice to see you around Masters.Cheers !
January 13, 2011 at 4:50 pm #14505HUoommmmrhuoommm … thirsty people united … huoomm … yes, Master Turambar, of course the spelling is -y, not -ey … definitely, so to say …. rhuoommm … but as usual our dear barkeep wants to sell the cheapest stuff for a lot of coiny things, I’m afraid …. huooommmm … that’s him …. hom … as for me any Bunnahabhain, Lagavulin or Laphroaig would do … huoom
January 13, 2011 at 8:36 pm #14506Whiskey from the emerald isle is not “cheap stuff” Master Tree! It is vastly superior in flavour to the stuff they produce in the North. Trust me – I’m a barkeep. Indeed, whiskey was recorded in Hibernia a hundred years before its first recorded appearance in Pictland, so it’s even been in the barrel for longer.
Cheap stuff indeed…. (Exits stage left, muttering loudly)
January 14, 2011 at 1:15 pm #14512That sounds very tempting Master Barkeep. Could you bring me a glass of this one please???
January 14, 2011 at 1:25 pm #14513I always knew you were a man of refined tastes! I’ll add it to the Tree’s tab…he’ll never notice.
January 14, 2011 at 1:34 pm #14514I will try also, with a pint beside just in case.
Here is a golden coin for today’s drinks Master Barliman.January 14, 2011 at 2:53 pm #14515Good heavens, someone who pays! Are you sure you’re not in the wrong drinking establishment, Master Milo? I’m not used to being given coiny things in exchange for beverages!
January 14, 2011 at 4:43 pm #14516huuooommmm … Master Milo is an honourable man, Master Barliman, as we all are … huoomm … please keep in mind that he is used to his Hobbit-character … huom …
as for another matter I witnessed some more new scribble on my bar tab, Master Barliman … huom … could you please tell me what that is about or for? … huommm …
concerning the liquids produced on the emerald isle I never said I dislike them … rhuoomm … I know that people in Bree do prefer liquids that were not produced in the North, in what you call Pictland …. huoooommmmm ….
January 14, 2011 at 5:03 pm #14517I don’t think that describing it as “cheap stuff” is indicative of your having a particular liking for the Irish amber nectar, Master Tree! As for scribbles on your tab, er, I’m sure that I don’t know anything about them. Young Nob is the scribbler in this establishment (you’ve presumably seen the lavatory walls?).
January 14, 2011 at 5:05 pm #14518…I like this new Mithril sale, by the way. 20% off the MS figures is very tempting indeed.
