Now, now, Master Cameosis, it would be more polite to speak the Common Speech so that we can all understand you! If everyone here started to use their own language then in no time at all none of us would be able to communicate with anyone else. House rules!

barliman, apologies — however, this was a quotation from a song to which i posted the youtube link (nordisch by nature), which in turn was a direct reference to the song quotation and link posted above (that’s the way i like it), so there’s no harm done.

if we all spoke in our own languages, we’d learn them from each other in no time, i can assure you. cheers — have a pint of ale on me, i’ll throw the next round.
