Nob? – go and get my mail gauntlets and a thick glass…
Well, we hobbit do not like swimming, nor fishes so accept my apologies and tell nob it it Bitter I wanna drink
:lol::lol:Be carefull master Ent, nearly 3000 posts on your side…This will cost you some leaves !
March 4, 2011 at 6:16 pm #15741Huoommmm … this is not about leaves, Master Milo … rhuoommm … as I will never give away my leaves as some kind of currency here … rhuoomm … that’s why I once asked our very kind barkeep to better mark something on me bar tap … rhuoommm … it’s not a “leave-taking” I intended, right? … huoommm … if I know what I mean … rhuommmmmm
March 4, 2011 at 7:30 pm #15743And do you?
March 5, 2011 at 9:44 am #15748Huooommmmm … no ….
March 5, 2011 at 10:38 am #15750Thought not. Have a bowl of that refreshing liquid that you like – it may clear your head. Or not.
March 5, 2011 at 11:29 am #15751:lol::lol::lol:
Master Barliman, do you have a drink to clear the eyes???March 5, 2011 at 1:58 pm #15754Diluted scrumpy should do it. Then just give them a buff with a piece of soft cloth before you put them back in, and they’ll be just as shiny as ever they were.
March 6, 2011 at 12:21 pm #15761I’m in a hurry. Someone asked for the Prince August catalogue, probably the Pony is not the right place to speak about this but I hope Barli wouldn’t mind. Here you are the whole scanned catalogue.
March 6, 2011 at 12:24 pm #15762Thank you very much to provide this, Master Arthadan.
PS: there are many other interesting things to download there . . .
March 6, 2011 at 3:08 pm #15766Huoommm … ok … though I’m not going to provide this, my good-old machine with further tasks it cannot cope with … rhuoomm … know, these things can be hastier than me … err .. well … then I also do not place my face in a book … rhuoommm … just imagine, you want to read a book and you are in it … ggggrrruuoommmm … no, a mirror in the morning should be sufficient for that … huoommm … huoommmm … mustn’t necessarily be Galadriel’s mirror …
Huomm… and to be honest, spring’s coming fast … .err … wargskins to be cleaned … alas, it’s always me having to do so many things …. hommm … but, does it matter?
March 6, 2011 at 4:57 pm #15767Well, it’s your roots (feet?) that make them so dirty, so you shouldn’t complain when you have to rinse the wargskins through once in a while. Just come in with cleaner feet (roots?), and the problem would be solved.
March 6, 2011 at 6:08 pm #15768Master Arthadan-
That is most appreciated. It’s also another piece in an old puzzle. However, its an entirely different catalogue than the ones we were discussing
(That’s the 1990 catalogue, I’m hunting down content in the 1984,1985, 1986 catalogues – I think anyway!)
You should absolutely send that scan to Michael O’ Brien for the purposes of adding to the web content!
March 6, 2011 at 6:13 pm #15769Huoommm … first of all, roots they are called, Master Barliman …. huoommm … second is, I did not complain but was merely facing facts …. rhuooommmm … third is, that it’s not only about rinsing them smelly wargskins, see that’s the last step to be taken …. rhuoommm …
first is to be decided and have and take the time to take effort to clean them furry-things … huommm …
no discussions, not minding their bites and closing your nose …. err … then there’s cleaning to be done, you know …. huommm … which comes before rinsing them things … huomm … brush and shrub over and over again … rhuom … rhuoommmm … after rinsing there’s drying outdoors … ahem, that is in the backyard of your very fine premises, Master Barliman ….. huomand then, forth, my roots are clean and have always been … huomm … as clean as roots can be …. hom !
ahh … fifth, of course … I’m not payed at all for taking all that effort once and again to leaf (?) a very nice first impression for the ones who enter your “Pony” for the first time … huommm …
if you know what I mean …. rhuoommm ….March 6, 2011 at 6:42 pm #15770Right, the next time I find huge root-shaped footprints on my floors I shan’t blame you. You’re clearly just an innocent bystander. I shall just have to pin the blame on someone else who also comes in here with mud on his unshod feet. And I know just the lad. Someone find Nob for me…..
March 9, 2011 at 10:21 am #15803Hi barliman,
Can I have a tea from eastern lands with Nob’s pancakes today ?
March 9, 2011 at 1:04 pm #15804I’m not surprised Mithril doesn’t have time for lead figures anymore!:lol::lol:
Check this out!

March 9, 2011 at 1:28 pm #15805I’m not sure I’d fit in those.
March 9, 2011 at 1:37 pm #15806I’m sure I don’t! 😆
March 9, 2011 at 1:48 pm #15807…. This is certainly a trap… for dwarf’s maidens. Mithril tights or tights made mithril fiber….. are there any of dwarf maidens
!?!?!?
March 9, 2011 at 1:54 pm #15810Not here there aren’t – though, of course, it’s hard to tell them from the dwarf men, as has been famoulsy reported elsewhere.
My main problem with tight leggings is that they show up my varicose veins (all this standing about isn’t good for a body).
