Huoommm … again I’m too late … hom … anyway, why haste? … huoooooommm … absolutely great diorama, Master Ddaines, and it seem to be quite tall … rhuomm …
Huom, now, gentlemen, when I before used the word “finger basket” I really meant it and wasn’t referring to that oily-boily-bony-meatless stuff that KFC (mind the word chicken in it … huoomm … our American-English-speaking friends here might guess that it does not refer to an animal, but rather suggests that that company doesn’t dare to sell what we call a meal, right?) … huommm … that had to be said … rhuuoommm …
as for those “finger baskets” I learned that, a very long time ago, it was a habit of barkeeps, at least around a town called Cirencester … huoomm … after kitchen was closed in a pub after lunchtime and you were late on a Sunday afternoon … huoomm … as sometimes I are and have always been … huoommm … the only thing you could get, in case you know the lady of the house, was a “finger basket” … err … that is you can get what is left from lunch, but nicely warmed or even heated up again and served in a basket, excluding cutlery or other luxuries … huoommmm … that’s why this came to my mind, when I thought “what the heck is our dear Master Barliman doing with the rest of those nutrias after they’ve got rid of their tails ?” …. huoomm … see, I’m just guessing still …. hoommm … or has anybody around here ever been offered a nice spicy, hot nutria-curry? … huommm … at least it’s not on the missing menue ..

Huoommm … what is it? … rhuooommm … whenever I just start to explain some serious matter people leave and leave me alone … rhuoommm … must be because of that nicely-cleaned and half-living warg-skins they’re afraid of … huoomrhuomm … no problem that is … once you witness that one of them tries to raise its head …. huom … give him a k**k … that’s all there is.

Well, it did once, but I think Nob ate it. As far as food goes, these days I work on the principle that if it isn’t ion the table-cloth, we don’t serve it.

Huoommm … I see, you’re just trying to call the good old Pony a “restaurant” … huoomm … I don’t mind …. so whenever there’s no cloth on the tables, which does not provide cutlery with a nicely curved napkin, it simply means: “No food today” … rhuoommm … besides, Master Barliman I just witness that this Nob is not only chewing your last menu, he also stuffed himself up with my bar taps … rhuoommmm … nasty lad he is …. huoommm …

No doubt, that bree´ish people has got no sense for real coffee culture . . .
