April 12, 2011 at 6:02 am #16754Wow, that is the best description of Rugby I’ve ever heard!
April 16, 2011 at 7:27 pm #16846And though I originally posted this in the wrong place:
Just completed another Mithril project – a band of wood elf warriors in mirkwood.
And yes, that is an old CD turned into a quick and dirty display stand.
April 16, 2011 at 8:24 pm #16848You may have lost your way again, Master Gavin, though you’re always welcome. This isn’t Master Samwise’s gallery… Go across the room, up a broad stair, along a wide corridor, through the first hall, and out. The art gallery is on the opposite side of the road, next to Nob’s kennel.
April 16, 2011 at 9:31 pm #16850huoooommrhuom … and there’s the Ent …
April 16, 2011 at 9:35 pm #16851So there is. (Er, not sure about the correctness of my grammar there, but never mind.)
April 17, 2011 at 4:29 pm #16872Err … huoomm … so here I am …. rhuoommmm … don’t worry about Entish grammar, Master Barliman, as it only exists in sounds uttered with ideas … huoommm … kloppediklommm …hom
April 18, 2011 at 11:22 am #16883Hi everyone. Master archer noticed I posted my 1111 thought today.
So Barliman, bring XXXX to every thirsty fellow ! 😆April 18, 2011 at 2:15 pm #16889Huooommmm … I’m here, the others please join the queue … huoommm
April 18, 2011 at 2:32 pm #16892….. Milo… I received your e-mail. Got a round of drinks at your choice of my name … cheers !
April 18, 2011 at 3:05 pm #16895Well, everyone seems to be up to buying for a round, so I’d better set up a new keg! I’ve just been in the yard at the back soaking up an ale and the sunshine – what a wonderful spring day it is! – well, here anyway. I don’t know what it’s like beyond the Breeland, of course. Perhaps it’s raining…
April 18, 2011 at 3:56 pm #16896And is everyone going to watch A Game Of Thrones tonight?
April 18, 2011 at 3:56 pm #16897Well, it was on last night in places far to the west of Bree, mind.
April 18, 2011 at 4:01 pm #16898I shall certainly give it a look-see. Sean Bean is a good actor anyway, and hopefully the production values will be better than some Fantasy nonsense we’re subjected to.
April 18, 2011 at 5:24 pm #16901The production values are highly impressive.
Beautiful use of Malta, Northern Ireland and Scotland for locations. Wonderful costume designs (though if you’re not familiar with the books, some of the heroic knight’s uhm, specialised armour will look a bit weird. There’s a reason for this.). Nicely lit.
Lots of human tension, and, as the joke goes. Little Alfie got himself a job.
April 18, 2011 at 6:05 pm #16902Huooommmm … to be honest, I do not understand a single word … rhuom … I just witness that me bowl is empty still … huom … though I stood in line … gruoommhuom … talkative barkeeps spending their time in the yard and soaking sun and ale are not what these nice premises need to improve the reputation of a Bree-ish tavern … rhuoommmm … right, I also relaxed a bit meanwhile … huu°uuômmm rhuh<- --- ommmmmm ...
April 18, 2011 at 8:18 pm #16907Hello friends. I have some photos to share of small, happy things. (Even happier than Mithril minis!).
Here is my son Braden Jacob Vaughn. He was born on January 2nd, very premature, at less than 2 pounds. He has done remarkably well and is now up to 7.5 pounds. He is fully healthy and happy except for some issues with his lungs. He’ll be on breathing assistance for a while, maybe a few months. Once his lungs grow a bit more, he will be off the breathing assistance.
We’re very happy with how he is doing.

April 18, 2011 at 8:40 pm #16909Impressive…. thanks for this pictures here, dear friends… cheers for Braden ! And welcome here son of Original Aragorn
Toast for long and happy life for the little fighter !
April 18, 2011 at 8:58 pm #16910That’s much much better than a mithril for sure!
Welcome to the world, Brade
April 18, 2011 at 9:21 pm #16912You have much to celebrate, Master OA, and are in exactly the right place to do it. Your son actually bears a very close resemblance to Nob on one of his good days, though Nob may be a tad shorter.
