Ah yes, know it indeed, but don’t personally drink it (my personal favourite of Continental beverages is Peroni). Are you sure you won’t try the scrumpy? There’s a particularly “meaty” flavour to it today (I think Nob put in too many rats’ tails).
May 5, 2011 at 8:33 pm #17240Mounted Lady Galadriel ( Sevlag ) welcome to the Pony… nice to see new lady here…
Cheers !May 6, 2011 at 2:37 pm #17253Huuooooooooommmm … welcome, Mistress Sevlag … huomm … it’s really nice to have you around here … rhuoomm … in this public house I can recommend the clear-clean-non-sparkeling-honey-coloured-non-smelling-watery liquid which is nicely provided in handy bowls … rhuuooommm … quite a beverage that is … you have to try it … rhuoommmm
May 6, 2011 at 3:29 pm #17254(A quiet aside to Nob and the cat:) It’s a good job he’s never asked what the bowls are made of – it saves me having to make the embarrassing admission that they’re boxwood….

May 6, 2011 at 5:01 pm #17260Thank you Master Milo, now I will have to look for this beverage and sample it’s taste!!
May 6, 2011 at 5:16 pm #17262Thank you, Master Milo.

Always it´s good to invite someone in this inn. The innkeeper does not usually do it often :lol:
May 6, 2011 at 6:31 pm #17266Thanks for that drink! Mine had a wolf on the label!
May 6, 2011 at 7:05 pm #17270A drink with bite…
May 6, 2011 at 8:44 pm #17273Thank you Milo, a kind gesture
, and welcome Mistress Sevlag. The Balrog arrived here yesterday so they are issuing forth! I much prefer this size to the bigger version (my idea of scale accuracy).

May 7, 2011 at 10:48 am #17292If you think it’s burnt clay, that’s fine by me, Master Tree. Yes, it’s burnt clay. Definitely burnt clay. Absolutely. No question about it (etc…).
May 7, 2011 at 12:35 pm #17294Rhuuoommm … I always knew that Master Barliman is a very reliable barkeep …. huoommm …
May 8, 2011 at 8:29 am #17314Good morning, fellows – just popping in briefly today to warn you that Nob is in charge for the next few days while I go in search of new stock for the cellar. I shall be back at the end of the week. Don’t take advantage of my vertically challenged assistant while I’m away!
May 8, 2011 at 4:33 pm #17319hi hi…
well bad week for me very bad week…
not to mention I’ve been totally ill since Thursday and can only manage to get out of the bed some spare hours a day…
well..
as some of you may know, I am a deep fan and player of Everquest 2…. which I play daily…. Everquest2 is a MMORPG produced by SOE (Sony Online Entertainment)…
I am among those 25millions people (from SOE) in addition to the 75millions (from PSN) people whose personnal data have potentially been compromised… Indeed the game has been totally down (servers, websites, forums, everything) since May 1st…Hopefully, it won’t directly create problem with my credit card as there was no credit card thefts (for SOE…. not PSN) but in order to be sure, I’ll to change all my passwords online… even if there are several and not necessarily the same as SOE’s one… one can never be too sure…
how great a week…
May 8, 2011 at 5:03 pm #17321That’s horrid, Master Gildor.
Meanwhile, my daft idea for the morning: create a Middle-earth conversion for D&D 4E, using only “Heroes of the Fallen Lands” and the Rules Compendium and the new Dungeon Master’s Guide.
May 8, 2011 at 5:52 pm #17322well I have stopped playing D&D4e actually, all rumors indicate that d&d is dead in its current edition …
wotc will carry on releasing some products as marketing is their job…. but all experts in rpg confirm that dd4 has never been a strong success and is about to completly disappear from the gametable… People still prefer 3.5May 8, 2011 at 5:59 pm #17323Huoommm … I wish I had minor problems … rhuoomm … I’m still trying to find out if those ‘fire-baskets’ were placed too short to the bombardes when the attack on Harfleur began … rhuom … I’m afraid I’ll never find out .. huomm … our expert about such matters is away …. rhuoomm …
it’s just about building a correct diorama of Renaissance-artillery … huommm … have to build them gabiones myself, alas …. huoommm … -
