it’s just about building a correct diorama of Renaissance-artillery … huommm … have to build them gabiones myself, alas …. huoommm …That sounds great!
I myself finished my artillery a couple of weeks ago. As you know, I’m busy with a Renaissance Imperial Spanish army. This is my artillery.[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/29_sv400428.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/29_sv400428.jpg[/imgz]
What scale is your diorama? Do you know this manufacturer?

You can save some time ….
May 9, 2011 at 9:35 am #17331ouuuh very nice Master Erchamion… I like all those works from Renaissance in your case Imperial Spanish army…. do you have some dirty, rough and reckless conquistadors
I also have many figures from diferent historical periods…. !
May 9, 2011 at 9:42 am #17332Great artillery, Master Erchamion. I didn’t know that seller. By now I use two different scales, 4cm and 7 cm (height of the figures). It will take a lot of time until everything is finished. I have to build some details myself. And of course I musn’t forget my Mithril collection.

May 9, 2011 at 4:13 pm #17337Wonderful boat master Ent !
May 10, 2011 at 9:24 am #17339Focusing on Mithril things, today I received my ms519 ´Bard and the old Thrush`, which ordered last October 13 ….What are 7 months when you get this great figure to the end!

May 10, 2011 at 10:54 am #17342Huuooommmm … I received that Balrog yesterday but had no time to assemble all the pieces … rhuom … the size seems to be very good … huom
May 10, 2011 at 1:56 pm #17343did you notice the very little horns in a smal plastic bag in the blister quite cute….
oh by the way… I know what disease I caught… seems it’s the measles… at my age…quite painful and exhausting
May 10, 2011 at 3:55 pm #17344Huooommmm …. that’s no good news, Master Gildor … huoommm … I also caught them about 10 years ago … Huom … that also was being of an age when you never think of ever catching that disease, as it it supposed to be a child-disease … rhuoommm … yes, for an adult that can be very painful indeed, I know … rhuoommm … I feel with you … huoommm … the good news is that you’ll not die from it …. huomm, err, sorry, bad joke that was …. huoommm
Huom, yes, those very tiny little horns are very nice indeed … huommm … 8 pieces to assemble is quite a lot for a single figure, isn’t it? … hoooo mmm … but we’ll manage … hom
May 10, 2011 at 4:54 pm #17345Huoommm … couldn’t refrain from starting to assemble that Balrog-beast … huom … definitely one of the best “single figures” I held in my hands in the past years … rhuoommm … perfect … pose and size, so much energy implied in the pose … huomm … very nice base, too … rhhuuoommm … magnificent, I’d like to say … hoooomm … the horns are a bit tiny for an Ent to assemble though … huoommm … very close transformation of the old over-sized Balrog including all details of the “old one” … huoommm … so, thanks to The Man from my side … hom
May 10, 2011 at 6:39 pm #17346I did not purchase it yet, but your description makes me envious…

May 10, 2011 at 7:48 pm #17349Rhuoommm … took me about all day to assemble that piece … rhuom … it was worth it … huom … but … I nearly used up all of my old metal-glue which once was provided with the old M62-set … gruuoommm … I don’t like that “green stuff” I have somewhere around here … hom
… anyway, one of the best “single figures” for years, as I said … huomm … and it meets the size of the M-Mithril range far better than the old one … rhuoom … hom … imagining to have that demon being stood up it’s by a third higher than the good old Razarac … huoommm …
very fine figure indeed that Balrog … huoommm … hom … though it’s very hard to assemble … hommmmm … at least for me, the tree … homMay 11, 2011 at 2:46 am #17350Those boats are fabulous, gentlemen–amazing.
I am sorry to hear of your troubles, Gildor, measles are a serious condition for adults. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Theo I am only now ordering the Balrog–but you give me great hope (as does the picture on the Mithril site).
May 11, 2011 at 12:54 pm #17353Have a thought about me!
– no game (I’m on EQ2 too)
– Hubby with measles (bring me a hotwater bottle, bring me water, bath my face, open the window, close it, y’know, that type of thing)
– Baby teething (canines)Lucky me !
*sobs in a corner*
For D&D, it seems a lot of players that stay with 3.5 went to the Pathfinder system with advanced/easier rules (or so they said, never tried).
Loving to play loyal evil or at least loyal neutral chars, D&D 4 is definatedly not for me (those alignements were removed) -
