Huoommm … I do have a thought about you, Mistress Wirilóme … huom … I do … indeed … rhuuoommm … being very busy with an ill Elf (” bring me this and bring me that”- “Alas, that doesn’t help, try another one, please.”) … rhuoommm … those Elves are very hard to be cured … but because of you he’ll survive, I’m sure … rhuommm … human babies teething, as you put it, also gets very much on one’s nerves, as they never really stop crying … rhuoomm…
errr … the only thing I could do at the moment is to give you a thought and a feeling … rhuom …
so, whenever you’re in that “corner” again, take a look outside your window and focus a tree … ahem, it could be me …. wishing you all the best … rhuoooouuÛUommm

*looks at the tree outside and waves*

Went to the herbalist to ask for some stuff for my ill Elf. Now hoping that meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria) has some results, along with ravintsara essential oil (Cinnamomum camphora) and plantago syrup…

this is a masterpiece to me … rhuoommm …. better keep quiet now … rhuoomm

Rhuoommmm … Mistress Wirióme … (sorry I still cannot put those two dots above the ‘e’) … rhuoommm … just ask the Lady of our “Master Caster” about these matters, please …huoomm
she might be able to help you … rhuoommm …
:) you saw me, the tree ? …. rhuuoommmmmgruomm … strange that is … ;)

Huoommm … never mind, as we trees and plants are well aware of the problem of dis-hydration these days… rhuoomm … so at the moment best is to give that suffering Elf a hug … rhuoom …
doing that at least thrice a day will keep him staying alive … rhuommm … maybe an extra-hug in the evening would make him recover … rhuooommm … I’m sure about that … huoomm ….

My deepest apologies, Mistress Wirilome! It is just as miserable to care for the sick (with a newborn also), as to be sick.

So then, I am sorry for both of you, and hope Christophe feels better soon–for everyone’s sake.

Well, Nob does not seem to be in the place neither, so I guess I have to cook for myself.

                      Milo goes in the kitchen
Let’s see what’s in here…Oh yes Porc, potatoes and carrots.
                      Where are onions ? Mmmmm
                      :P

                      Milo starts slicing potatoes…

Huuoommm … I’m always here, Master Milo, though you sometimes might mistake me as a part of the timber around here … rhuoommm … then there’s the Man in the Dark always watching … though you can’t see him … huoomm … it’s the shadow behind the smoky clouds … rhuom … we do see you and what you’re doing in Master Barliman’s kitchen … huommm … err, what about some garlic and fried mushrooms … huoomm … added with scrambled eggs and fresh chives … hooomm? … all on slices of roasted toast, of course … homm … ahh … those potatoes have to be fried together with the bacon and onions … hmmmmm … just forget the carrots and porc … rhuoommm … some dessert (no, dessert I mean) would be fine … huom … extra-cold vanilla ice-cream sprayed slightly with raspberry-vinegar … huom … yes … that’s it … hoomm

                          Hello Master Ent,

OK, I forgot the man behind the cloud again… Garlic I did use but mushroom are not easy to find this season, except deep down in south M.E….
So I finally decided to cook my potatoes as some kind of Garlic potatoes bread.
Onions were to mixed with the eggs to achieve a perfect omelette.
Then, bacon which I think is made of porc (or is it pork?) was just grilled at the end.

Huoomm … of course bacon is porc, I know … rhuoomm … I was just jesting … huom … what about my suggestion for the dessert? … have you ever tried it? … rhuom? … okidoke, the good old hot (means heated, not hot) raspberry or cherry-sauce would also meet the vanilla-ice-cream well … hooommm … just think about it … hommmmm

Master Milo, if it is mushrooms you are looking for, I know a fine farmer just across the river near the Bywater Ferry. Maggott is his name, and a stout hobbit he is, although be sure to approach his property from the road, and knock at the gate. If you cross his fields without permission he’ll set his dogs on you!! But the mushrooms are the best between Rivendell and Hobbitton!
