May 13, 2011 at 1:46 pm #17381I swear I saw him briefly at lunch yesterday and today.
But he did not take time te rest here for a while nor send any post.
From what he told me 3 weeks ago, he his more than busy at the moment.
This why I shout each time I see his silhouette behind the pony’s window.May 13, 2011 at 2:43 pm #17382aah, i see—he’s probably busy analyzing the camels i mailed him. (at least i hope so, i haven’t heard from him since)
May 13, 2011 at 2:46 pm #17383BTW, did you check my mail about mithril and ones about RP ?
some more camels to come then ? WoW…
Let me offer you another Troll’s beer Master of languages, even if your feet are very much more repulsive than my own…
Nob ? where are you ?May 13, 2011 at 5:14 pm #17384check this—it fits perfectly with the mithril camels and looks awesome (much better than the fellowship camel, anyway):
i shall drink this with a toast to you, forest warden!
*BOUUUUARRRRPP* and my feet are in tune with nature’s odors, my friend. 😆got your mail, i’ll write you over the weekend, i think.
May 13, 2011 at 5:23 pm #17385Who makes this camel?
May 14, 2011 at 1:41 pm #17386Very nice this camel indeed.
May 14, 2011 at 1:54 pm #17388However nice he is, he’s not coming in my bar. unless someone is volunteering to wipe all the spit off the walls afterwards.
Yes, fellows, I’m back, and I return not especially impressed with the beverages of which I partook beyond Mor Breizh – I should have asked for some recommenadtions from you fellows before I went, I guess. I’d welcome some belated advice regarding the better Gallic types that I might have missed – draught or bottled (I’m not especially fussy). I’m particularly interested in knowing if there are any genuinely Gallic ciders. I didn’t find any, but I may not have looked hard enough.
May 14, 2011 at 3:56 pm #17389milo, shady—i have no idea.
dear innkeeper, the camel has already been shipped beyond harad, no worries.May 14, 2011 at 4:37 pm #17391Huoommm … seems that your stay-off wasn’t very well-planned in terms of liquids awaiting you … rhuommm … anyway, I hope you did enjoy the landscape at least …. huomm …
ahhh, I forgot … rhuoomm … welcome back, Master Barliman … huom … indeed … hom … as far as I could see there was no severe damage done to any of the rooms here … rhuommm …
no digging from outside to your vaults below … hmm … not any attempt to unlock the hidden trap-door behind the bar being witnessed … rhuoommm … everythings fine this time you were absent … huoommm … gruooohmmmm …err…huom …
what I just wanted to say is, wouldn’t it be a nice idea to give a round for the regulars here for free … ? … huom … see, Master Barliman, we really do care about your well-known Prancing Pony whenever you don’t have the time to do that yourself … rhuommm … we’re a bunch of very most reliable customers around here …. right? … so … why not … err … huoommm … just think it over …. hooooommmmm ….May 14, 2011 at 4:44 pm #17392Always follow advices from our dear wise ent Barli.😀
May 14, 2011 at 6:05 pm #17393not to mention that a benevolent troll (rules) lawyer can be a vulable friend at times.
May 14, 2011 at 6:05 pm #17394Oh, very well, I suppose you’re not such a disreputable bunch of reprobates as you seem on the surface. So, a free mug of whatever-takes-your-fancy to everyone who’s here at this moment…..What, no one’s here? Well, so much for that then. A cheap round indeed, as we say here in Bree!
May 14, 2011 at 6:06 pm #17395Ah, I’m wrong – Master Cameosis proves he has a nose for alcohol and materilalises from nowehere. so he gets a free drink!
May 15, 2011 at 8:26 am #17396Huooommm … you’re obviously not aware of the permanent presence of a tree and a Man in the Dark, Master Barliman …. rhuoommm … and, besides, did you say “mug”? …. rhuoomm ?
May 15, 2011 at 8:36 am #17397Quote:so he gets a free drink!And what about a ranger, master Barliman? 😀
May 15, 2011 at 8:41 am #17400And a thirsty hobbit ?
May 15, 2011 at 9:33 am #17402No, no, no, you can’t expect a free drink more than two hours later – you were none of you here at the time, so I’m afraid you missed your chance.
May 15, 2011 at 9:48 am #17404Huooommmm …. that’s exactly the way our dear barkeep reacted when I first entered this “Prancing Pony” place some days (?) ago on the old MMP …. rhuoomm … he’ll not change, I’m afraid …. huom … he always thinks of us customers and regulars to produce coiny-things for his benefit … hommmm … that’s him … hom …
May 15, 2011 at 1:47 pm #17413Certainly is.
