actually, it is very realistic — after a healthy meal at your place, these guys simply pass around some serious gas. thus, it is wind, but not “wind.”
if they had FARTED IN each other’s GENERAL DIRECTION, that would be an entirely different story and the beards would ride like the wind, too:
May 28, 2011 at 2:09 pm #17678Happily, I’d forgotten all about Chris Cross….why did you have to remind me?

(thanks for reminding me, this time!)May 28, 2011 at 3:15 pm #17680Gildor Inglorion wrote:I like the scene a lot master ent! really well done!as for creator, father or whatever of dwarves master erchamion…. the project has been canceled as it is, and should not be addressed in public anymore… there are licence, copyright issues in this matter that prevent further conception…
I’ll be happy to give you details in private if you want or maybe in Angrenost (that’s not even sure) and I think that mentionning the word “father of … ” should be removed from these posts please… as the pony can be parsed by google and display result for anybody looking for this entry… and THIS is to be avoided at all cost… if we EVER want to see in our hands what I – alone it seems, or maybe some few others – have seen in pics…
PS : I may delete this very post soon…
Thanks for the reply, Gildor
Deleted the post with the words …. F…. of dwarves ….
if you consider it appropriate I will also erase the C….. of dwarves….

What could I say except great figure perfectly positioned on great photo. I ordered it recently and I hope that it will be soon in my collection……
May 28, 2011 at 9:37 pm #17684how about “originator of midgets”?
May 28, 2011 at 11:52 pm #17685Huoommm … thank you, Master Erchamion … but I still try to improve … rhuoomm … which means I have to spend much more time in the Ent … rhuooomm …
May 29, 2011 at 9:42 am #17686I think the setting is just about right master Tree, not too much, not too little. You could perhaps some natural stone columns just to give the appearence of some height to the chamber. I say columns rather than solid wall as the viewer could then look through at the different angles.
Do I notice a skull on the base – I wonder if that is the skull of one of the Nameless Things?
May 29, 2011 at 9:50 am #17687I am seriously considering getting a second Balrog to convert and use with the Gandalf at the Bridge of KD figure as I believe the scale of this Balrog complements the 32mm figures.
I wonder if we will see the other Balrog that Chris gave a glimpse of?
May 29, 2011 at 10:50 am #17688Dear sir:
This Balrog diorama is really OVERFANTASTIC! Absolutely !!!!!!!!!! That means: 100 karma points!!!!
WOW ! Master Tree, you have unexpected qualities !!!! 😎
But: Why didn´t you put it inside ” the Art Gallery of Mayor Samweis” with an own chapter??!!! It deserves this.

A Tree of many talents . I am sure it will have a place in Samwise’s gallery soon.
I may also have to revise my ‘wings’/’no wings’ policy on Balrogs as the effect is enhanced by the wings on this one, and it would look ‘odd’ without them.
May 29, 2011 at 12:34 pm #17690Huoommm … thank you very much for your kind comments … huomm … thank you very much indeed …. huom … so I’ll try to put them pics somewhere into Master Sam’s gallery … rhuom … and yes, Master Ddaines, I also think that BB without wings would be a very poor figure … huom
May 29, 2011 at 1:26 pm #17693Huoommm … yes, Master Ddaines, that skull and the bones on the base are strange indeed … definitely non-human, orcish or other we know of … huom … the canine teeth rather remind of a sabre-tooth tiger from days of old … huom … the size of the eye sockets in the skull rather remind of an insect, though also that doesn’t make sense … rhuoomm … all I can see is something we don’t know or have a name for … rhuoommm … that Balrog must have been feasting on that creature a very long time ago meseems …. huoommm … that was an interesting question you put, Master Ddaines … huom …
huom … and as for the size of BB, it perfectly matches the 32mm scale … huomm … I just placed it together with our Gandalf (M500) … well, you just have to find an idea how to let BB standing upright, giving him a different pose of his arms, adding a scimitar and a whip …
rhuoommm …
what I mean is, that’s impossible as far as I can judge … huoommm … at least for me tree …May 29, 2011 at 3:43 pm #17695The conversion will be made harder by the way the figure is cast with arms and hands attached to the legs, but with some patience and putty, it can be done methinks
May 29, 2011 at 4:06 pm #17696Huoommm … wishing you good luck for that … huom … I hope you’ll provide some pictures of that nice conversion once it’s finished … hoommm
May 29, 2011 at 4:49 pm #17697Rather you than me, Master Dave. I can’t get on with that green putty stuff.
