Aha, this would be the second batch of the vertically challenged gentlemen with the initials MW, then? If so, then I certainly haven’t heard anything.

I had to stand him up using some soft putty, but unfortunately I hadn’t realised that it showed on the image until too late, so I tried hiding those little bits with photoshop.
September 9, 2008 at 6:52 pm #3102Excellent Master ddaines! You definetely are a Skilled Artisan! Did I leave the pony as well when this picture was taken?

September 9, 2008 at 8:22 pm #3105So the things under Master Tree’s feet weren’t the coiny things he’s mentioned finding round his roots? That’s disappointing – certain bar tabs might have been settled. Incidentally, I take the fact that you had to prop him up with putty as a tribute to the strength of my scrumpy!
September 10, 2008 at 12:48 pm #3106That must be it Master Barliman. I guess a similar “scrumpy effect” hit me, thats why I had to leave early when the pic was taken….
September 10, 2008 at 3:41 pm #3107Rhuoooommmm … Well, Master Barliman, what about your remarks about some obscure bar tabs …. huoomm … I still cannot understand, because sometimes I use to pay with coiny things, then sometimes some metal pieces have to do, rhuoomm … and sometimes I pay with rumours … as you might know …. rhuoomm … good rumours by the way, not of the kind those Breeish people are used to …. hom.
Well, your guess was right, of course …. huom … I heard that there are plans to unleash some of those tiny Mw-gentlemen this autumn …. huoommm … the second batch, so to say … homSeptember 10, 2008 at 4:13 pm #3108I’ve been wondering for some time when they’d appear. Mind you, I didn’t buy the first batch because of being in fiscally embarrassing circumstances at the time, so I probably shan’t be indulging in te next batch either. But we shall see.
September 10, 2008 at 5:56 pm #3109I can see from some of the comments that the Pony may well see some new characters appear just to satisfy the reg’lars.
September 10, 2008 at 6:58 pm #3112Rhuooommm … don’t take everything someone mentions as being settled or even fixed or even guaranteed ….rhuoommm … I tried to get hold of some information about certain matters … hom … my concern, so to say, was about the M10 having a dagger or not …. rhuoomm … you might remember … hom … so that problem is settled by now …. huoommm … as you might know me of being a bit talkative and curious … huom … I was answered that … hommm … let me quote, please … “Yes I do have another set of Mw346 Dwarves which I will be putting on Ebay this month (Dwarven bodyguards) as soon as I get the time.”
Rhuuoommmduhomm … “as soon as I get the time” might include a hint to a problem … hom.
Nevertheless I wanted to let you know about this … rhuoommm … just a rumour, of course, Master Barliman …. hommm!!!September 10, 2008 at 9:07 pm #3117“Straight from the horse’s mouth” is the best kind of rumour, Master Tree.
September 10, 2008 at 9:47 pm #3121Rhhuoommm … thank you, Master Barliman … huoomm .. let’s hope that he’ll get the time …
Alas, did you see the camel-rider going for 102,99 GBPs … rhuoommm … quite a lot meseems.
On the other hand it was a very good quality being provided ….huommm.September 11, 2008 at 5:40 am #3122Yes, I’d been watching the progress of the camel-rider between jobs behind the bar, and I had already gone past the point of being amazed when it reached £82+, but now I find my ghast absolutely flabbered (as we say here in Bree). I don’t think I shall ever be getting one of these chaps now – why, I could pay Nob’s salary for a year or more with that kind of money, and still have enough left over to defumigate the rugs!

how I can understand you!! Some prices are quite awesome high. Maybe you can ask someone who is not selling anything he can “redo” (hope this riddle could be understand)
If I was skilled enough and had not painted my camel, I would “redo” it and built a large regiment to threaten Gondor and I would have send you one  .Well let’s have another drink together with all those friends in here and a special toast to the longliving Gildor!!

I have a good news! Nob! go fetch your master, I wanna pay master Butterburr all the bills for everybody and also pay everyone around one of his favorite drink! I’m back, and I’ll have at last more time for everything!
(actually, I’ve got my promotion and I’ve been moved to my home town for my job… at last, I’ll work 10 minutes away from home instead of 2hours each day!!) I’ll have more time , soon, to carry on my work with fan pictures, and painting…
Oh also please note that I offer good prices for any figurines I still miss and that could be findable one way or another… I think most of you know what I miss
September 13, 2008 at 3:11 pm #3134Welcome back! I’m sure you’ll be very pleased indeed to leave the travelling behind for a while. I remember when I had a job which invoilved me driving 100 miles a day – I had very little time for hobbies or taprooms then, I can tell you! It was a great pleasure to resign.
Now, about paying all those tabs…
September 13, 2008 at 4:26 pm #3135Congratulations on the promotion Gildor and good news about the travelling time, makes life a lot easier when the commute is short
On a separate note, I’ve just ordered some of the ‘K-nigits’ (Monty Python [and the Holy Grail] fans will understand the word!) of Dol-Amroth, so next week some time I should be in ‘business’. Sadly it means I’m skint so I can’t get any drinks in
I wonder if any will visit the Pony?
Dave.
September 13, 2008 at 4:59 pm #3137Huoommm rhuoommm …. very good lads you are …. rhuoomm … but what does “skint” mean ?
…alas, … huoommm …. I nearly forgot about the congratulations for Gildor’s succes …. rhuoommm … sill I wonder if Master Barliman could cope with a free drink for the few of us …. rhuoomm… hom.September 13, 2008 at 5:26 pm #3138“Skint” – Spent all my pennies
