Huoommm … could mean an enlightened end then (whatever that means) … rhuooommm … words are limited, you know … hom … anyway …. rhuoomm … I’ll “stand still” … as some of us did, facing Helm’s Deep … and try to “hang on” … rhuoommm … I could even stop talking … if it’s that what you mean, Master Barliman … rhuoommm … I dunno … hom
December 12, 2008 at 3:25 am #3841A round for everyone! My husband just bought me a bunch of Mithrils. Now hopefully they come soon enough and I paint fast enough that some knights will be finished by the end of January.
An extra bowl for Theo for being a good sport about being decorated.
December 12, 2008 at 7:04 am #3843good morning,
hmmmm, o.k. I just managed to get some of those knights in my grasp. The paint job is ‘ard, because, what are the colours looking right in my own imagination of Middle Earth?? Takes me away from that lovely place in here, even if I like trees more without decoration.
The Hillman/Arnorian knight is absolutely fantastic, like all the other new stuff, I like also the Witch king, which I did not think I would like him, but the figure is awesome, fantastic, great…, very 3-dimensional. And Gandalf M500 absolutely the best Mithrandir/Ohtar ever. Also have a look at the dread undead horseman. Fantastic!!!
Barliman, I need a drink!
And let the others also have one!
NAMARIE
estelP.S.: It is very good not to have any orcish writings at the walls, thanks Gildor!
December 12, 2008 at 7:12 am #3845My Dead horseman and Theodred have just arrived, and they are both excellent. But my Knights STILL haven’t arrived – I guess I shall have to learn a little more patience from our friendly tree (look at him in the corner there, still as a stone, despite the festive lights singeing his twigs). After all, even if they were here I still wouldn’t have the time to paint them at the moment.

I just cannot receive any reactions from her to my mails, other than nice pakets .
December 12, 2008 at 9:39 am #3847When did the order? I have an outstanding since November 19. I have sent emails to Mary-Ann and Michael but I do not care for them. The truth is that I am a little worried-impatient. The order was quite large …..
December 12, 2008 at 9:44 am #3848My order for Theodred and the Dead dude was likewise placed on 19 November, and it arrived yesterday, so don’t give up hope yet! The Dol Amroth chaps are another
matter entirely, and the story behind the delays in their arrival is too long a saga to repeat here.December 12, 2008 at 10:13 am #3849I am reassured, Master Barli. A drink to pass the scare …..
¿have any ´Tapa` typical Christmas to accompany the beer?
December 12, 2008 at 10:37 am #3850I’m sure Nob could knock something together – he’s very well-travelled (by which I mean I kick him out the door quite often).
December 12, 2008 at 11:05 am #3852Coming! Coming master Butterbur! So who wants a drink? everybody? ok let’s have a drink for everyone there !
I have some Rivendell pudding in the fridge in the cave if you want some too, and some spiced wine?(I hope they have paid or I am good for a night in the stables once again…)
December 12, 2008 at 4:23 pm #3855Rivendell pudding? Is it good for your elf? I’m on a diet, you see.
December 12, 2008 at 5:36 pm #3856My DA Knights order, along with the witch-king and Theodred was paid around Nov 23rd and arrived Dec 8th. So it seems that 2 to 3 weeks is “normal” now. Although Those special Dwarves arrive within 5 days of my payment. So rest assured, your mithrils will arrive.
December 12, 2008 at 5:37 pm #3857Well, there’s nothing like talking about the problems to be solved …. Today, Mary-Ann replied me and today I have reached the package!
The last six GF figures and the M500! Good Christmas gift …
Rivendell pudding …. I don´t know if my corrupt body can cope food Elvish …. any soul of fat hobbit, perhaps?December 13, 2008 at 2:31 pm #3858Rhuoommhommm ….. ahem … may I ? … hom … well, as there’s nothing much around here I may, methinks … huoommm … so today I received the last four realeases from Mithril for this year … hom … brilliant they are indeed … I just want to pass on that I witnessed that the grey undercoat has been improved very much since the release of the Swan Knights … rhuoommm … I couldn’t keep from complaining about that at the Company when I received those knights … huoomm … Master O’Brian promised me to pass it on and told me that they were aware of that fact and about to consider changes …. rhuoommhom … so now the coating is much more better …. hom …. and as for the horse of the Arnor knight I think this time you can cut away that piece between the left front leg of the horse and the base …. huoomm …
Huooommmmrhuhom …. sorry … of, course I’ll stand still furtheron and won’t move …. huoommDecember 14, 2008 at 10:58 am #3863Huuoommmm …. ? …. [sniffing] …. ? …. ?? …. ????? …. !!!!!!!!! … must be that good old …. huoomm … yes it is … rhuooooooooooooooommmmmmmm … so what do you think, Master Twrich. Why did they all leave me here standing after having played some joke on me … rhuoommm … I don’t mind, but I’m afraid that they’re all off to play those jokes on other trees, too, in and outside Bree …. rhuooommm …hom …
well, I do remember that “stand still” and “hold on” ……… gruooommmm ….
……. huoommm …. [sniffing] … is it Dunhill’s 965 or Stanwell’s Jubilee ….. rhuoommDecember 14, 2008 at 2:11 pm #3869I am here Master Tree! I just got back from my long ride! Hey Barli! I need a drink!

December 14, 2008 at 5:20 pm #3871Quite right, Master Tree – who ever heard of a talking Christmas Tree? Ridiculous idea.
Just to add salt in the wound of those who don’t like not knowing what The Man has told me, I now of yet another M series that’s being worked on. Wow, if all these figures come out in 2009 that’s going to be a record year! I shall keep my fingers crossed that they do – and you can too, Master Tree, after all you’ve got more fingers than I have.
