Huoooommmm …. strange it is, Master Barliman. So you fed those wolves with your burgers-in-a-bun but ask your customers to give coiny things for them? …. huooommm …. anyway, I don’t like that stuff at all …. hom
February 4, 2009 at 2:47 pm #4303The size of their teeth distracted me from asking for money, Master Tree.
February 6, 2009 at 7:31 am #4304Is there no one out there, who wants to suggest another Witch King figure in the Mithril forum?? 😆
Maybe a w.k. with his left hand rising and right and in his pocket or so.
O.k., I am a little bit too sarcastic, but what do you think of last 2 month’s votes?
Celebrian is very very fine and most of the new suggestion of this month are beautifull. But a W.K. again??
If Chris is not creating an absolute masterpiece or a small diorama, I surely will need some motivation to buy this figure early.February 6, 2009 at 3:58 pm #4305Alas, master Estel, I think that the W.K won this run only by lack of other suggestions for 2nd turn…
Many people did not want to see a Dol Amroth female assassin or a female orc I think… so it’s not that they voted for the WK… it’s because they did not want to vote for the other choices…(same as in politics sometimes )
February 6, 2009 at 4:05 pm #4306Huuuoooommmmm …. I think you are absolutely right, Master Gildor … huom
February 6, 2009 at 4:26 pm #4307It certainly swayed my voting. Still, at least no one has suggested another Witchking this month … so far. Seriously, I’m sure we must have had about as many variations on the Witchking theme as it is possible to have by now – unless one of my patrons knows better?
In the meantime, I keep hoping for the announcement of another ‘M’ range – The Man says that the factory has had the masters for three months now…
February 6, 2009 at 4:43 pm #4309That´s a long time, I have to say that. Hoping this point of politics mentioned above by Master Gildor won´t have an influence . . .
By the way, a female assassin . . . it would have been better to have voted . . .February 6, 2009 at 5:30 pm #4310So Celebrian won (at last)
Another figure for my Rivendell diorama (whenever I get around to starting it).
I’d have gone for the female assassin, but I am a total MERP zombie
I didn’t make a suggestion this month. Instead I’ll vote for either Wendy’s or Estel’s suggestion.
Gavin
February 6, 2009 at 6:01 pm #4311Lets guess what we are missing….
The Witchking as King of Humans (at the time of his acceptance of the ring)
The Witchking as Lord of Angmar
The Witchking in his early years (wearing diapers)February 6, 2009 at 8:04 pm #4312The Witch-Prince, he can’t always have been a king
February 6, 2009 at 8:06 pm #4313There’s the Witch King as nothing – just rumpled up clothing on the fields of Pelennor.
February 6, 2009 at 8:24 pm #4314Wendy wrote:There’s the Witch King as nothing – just rumpled up clothing on the fields of Pelennor. That would be useful actually, but I could imagine the look on the face of the winner,, to see a pile of crumpled cloth and a crown. Wicked thought Wendy.
Actually, another WK doesn’t worry me that much as I am sure I can use him for something even if not as the WK. But for those who like to collect different figures I can understand the frustration.
February 6, 2009 at 9:24 pm #4315…and the Witchking as a twinkle in his father’s eye.
February 10, 2009 at 8:06 am #4328It’s gone very quiet in here. Even the Ranger sems to have gone to sleep, and the Tree doesn’t seem to be around at all. This might be a good time to redecorate. Nob? Go and get a bucket of paint that your head will fit into…
February 10, 2009 at 10:58 am #4330Somtimes the “quiet times” are needed aswell!
Please Master barkeep I need some strong liquid to make it just a little bit more quiet!February 10, 2009 at 6:10 pm #4333It could be the hard economic times Master Barliman.Maybe you could have a sale like the mithril merchants of Macroom.
50% off the price of scrumpy! Without a lowering of the quality of course.February 10, 2009 at 6:11 pm #4334Huh? What?? I’m awake, just lost in thought. Nob, don’t forget to tape up the window and door trim–I’m sure Barli only wants paint on the walls!
February 10, 2009 at 8:16 pm #4336Huuoommmrhuoommm … so I will leave now for a while as the last attempt of decorating the premises here did some mental harm to me … alas … rhuoomm … I just don’t want to be painted all over now … rhuoommm … why can’t you just sit here for a while without starting to run around after just a few seconds and try to do something weird …. rhuoommmhom …
February 10, 2009 at 9:38 pm #4339Doing ‘weird’ is what I’m best at, Master Tree. It goes with the territory if you brew and drink environmentally damaging volumes of scrumpy. Besides, I like to stick Nob’s head in a bucket every so often. It makes me feel that all is right with the world.
Cut-price scrumpy, Master Regalrick? I don’t think so – since none of you pay me anyway, given half a chance, what would be the point? Except… Aha, yes, I see – that way I’d only lose half as much revenue! An excellent bit of lateral thinking – have a free drink on me – after all, everyone else does.
February 11, 2009 at 9:58 am #4346Brrrr, what a cold does in the tomb! … I would take something hot ……
Is there any rumor about the possible-new PM2 of The Man? In the tomb I’m a bit lost …..
