lol
April 3, 2009 at 6:10 pm #4793Huuooommm … this is not about riddles, Master Barliman, as you might remember that riddles have always been a bit more complex than a simple rumour … rhuoommm …
well, then … huoomm … concerning the rumours about the next M-releases (sic pl.) you have not been too talkative so far … rhhuoommm … not was I … you just pointed out that there have been some certain information provided by someone … rhuuooommm … so that’s what rumours are about …. rhuoomm …
Huuooommmm … but as Master Gildor seems to be informed about that matter … rhuoomm … and he ‘s an honorable man … we might the rumour being regarded as a fact … huoomm … … rhuooommm … that’s what I know about this one … rhuoommmhuooommmApril 4, 2009 at 1:11 am #4794That’s what rumour’s are all about Master Barliman. It is not specified. It can be Dwarves, or Hobbits or both together!
April 6, 2009 at 3:34 pm #4842Master Barli, may I offer a round of drinks. Master Estel is a lucky guy because his black Numenorean wins. CONGRATS !
Can´t wait to see the result of CT´s interpretation.April 6, 2009 at 3:49 pm #4843These are on the house, since I’m personally happy that the Numenorean has won.
However, I’m not sure that the offhand way that Master Michael has treated the voting results is entirely fair. After all, when the voting deadline actually passed the result was a draw. The first additional (late!) vote gave the Numeorean the advantage, and the two further (very late!!) votes extended his lead. But the true result was definitely a draw, and The Man (or whoever) should have made the final decision regarding the victor, as per the Fellowship ‘rules’.
I can’t remember who it was who suggested Sam, but they certainly have grounds for being miffed by the result, don’t you think?
April 6, 2009 at 5:02 pm #4844Huooommmm … right you are again, Master Barliman … huoommm … it was a draw and that’s a fact …. Master O’Brian’s explanation about this in the last newsletter didn’t convince me very much … rhuoommm … anyway … I’ll not complain about the outcome …. huoommm … ah, could I have this bowl being topped up, please …. huoommm ….
April 6, 2009 at 5:44 pm #4845Wendy suggested Sam over a cooking fire.
April 6, 2009 at 8:29 pm #4846Huuoommmm …. right, but didn’t she suggest Samwise cooking rabbit-parts over a fire in a pan … huom … rather than himself … rhuooommm … I dunno …

I certainly don’t begrudge Master Estel the win, especially for a subject with so much scope for the imagination.

My only disappointment was the decidedly unexciting ending to a rather exciting vote.
April 7, 2009 at 6:06 am #4853Well you’re certainly a more tolerant soul than I am, Mistress Wendy. I wish you better luck with Sam next time! But as you say, the Numenorean dude will indeed give The Man a chance to deploy his imagination to its fullest potential.
April 8, 2009 at 11:03 am #4863Huuoooommm …. so as Master O’Brian has informed a bit about the next three regular M-series it’s not necessary any more to regard this as a rumour or a secret … rhuoomm … I’m looking forward to holding them in my hands … huom … though it might take some time until then …. but why haste?
April 8, 2009 at 12:45 pm #4864Did I miss something here?
When where and whom did Master O`Brian inform?April 8, 2009 at 1:06 pm #4865Sweet! The Battle of Helm’s Deep(3 separate releases for it!) Orcs, Dunlendings, and Rohan warriors I am guessing.

April 8, 2009 at 3:15 pm #4869Huoommm … you’re perfectly right, Master Jdbrown55 …. huoomm … Master O’Brian gave that hint today by answering a query about the next M-releases (series) … rhuoommm …. hom … and I can tell that he’s right about this matter …. huoom

April 10, 2009 at 12:14 pm #4873Huooommmmm …. I also wish all of you having a good time within the next days … yes, I do … huoommrhuooommmm … down under time always is a bit earlier meseems …. huom …
