Is this store: http://www.tolkienshop.com/contents/en-uk/d76.html a legitimate place to buy Mithril figures? I ask because it seems they have the MB418 Mûmak Oliphaunt diorama and the official Mithril website doesn’t have that boxed set. Is there anywhere else to get this boxed set? Thank you.

I can tell you that this tolkienshop + their museum is something to visit. It is located in Leiden in Netherlands.
The owner bought me some minis from my attic to fill his own museum holes. They also sell extra stock at reasonable prices (well, it depends, some minis are expensive).
You can trust them.

About other mithril retailers on the web. Noble Knight sells many (but more expensive).
Maybe for US buyer it is a better candidate as it would avoid customs & also lower shipping costs.

I have bought many overseas items over the years and I don’t know if it is just a USA thing but have never had to pay any customs fees. Noble Knight can get expensive, especially their Mithril figures, and it’s hard to tell what you get as they rarely have actual photos of the figure being sold. Thanks again Milo, I will go ahead and order the MB418 Mûmak as I want to make sure and get one unless anybody knows of any other place to acquire one…?

Well, I went ahead and ordered the box set as I don’t know of any other place that has one. It cost me around $70 USD with shipping itself being almost $30 of that! 😮

this place is the first one I find with the old t-shirt that I really liked but which is no more accessible through Mithril directly. I might order one too

Just received my MB418 Mûmak Oliphaunt box set today and it’s in mint sealed condition!! I will definitely look to them again to find figures it might be difficult to hunt down elsewhere.
