When I was still a youngster I could never remember Master Hieronymus Bosch’s name, and when asked for it at school on one occasion I called him Hiroshima Bomb.
Close, but no cigar (except behind the bicycle sheds after detention).
December 23, 2011 at 4:22 pm #22289…those two Elronds mistakenly used the wrong color shampoo….
great group of clones…..

This should be suggestion of Master David suggested on official MS board.. …. he suggest for next month bad character….
Smaug that emerges from the egg…
He can send this photo to Chris if his idea wins the most votes…. 😆
December 23, 2011 at 5:25 pm #22292It simply is a 3D excerpt from Bosch’s “Das Jüngste Gericht” (Weltgericht) … bottom right next to the other tortures.
This hasn’t got anything to do with Master Tolkiens books at all. – I just regarded that as a kind of joke … Elrond meets Bosch.December 23, 2011 at 5:29 pm #22293they’re still discussing … about who was first …

December 24, 2011 at 12:49 pm #22302Well, as now it is quite close to Christmas, I like to post here our greetings (just to let you know that Elrond feels fine among some trees here) … the bad guy in the pic is me, by the way … I first hesitated to post them, but then I thought that our Man in the Dark has to witness one of my smoky passions … cheers, Tom …. huoommm and to all of you:
MERRY CHRISTMAS[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_img_0003.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_img_0003.jpg[/imgz]

December 25, 2011 at 10:12 pm #22312Cheers to you, Master Treee!! I hope some day to smoke with you in person. And I very much like the style of your pipe!
December 26, 2011 at 1:11 am #22313And a happy Christmas and Hod Jul to all, and to all a good night!
December 26, 2011 at 1:18 am #22314Well, Master Twrich it’s just upon you to cross that watery region between us to be very much welcomed here … rhuommm … just feel free to do so … rhuoommm … I knew you would comment on that pipe-thing I sometimes use to light … it’s the “Bilbo”-pipe produced in small numbers by a well-known company called “Vauen” … I always wasn’t sure if the inlayed copper sprirals would harm my fingers, but all has been working well for years … the copper part at the front leaves a smooth hold for a finger … the woods being chosen for the Bilbo-pipe are perfect … those two woods meeting at the joint in the long shaft are perfectly crafted … and have the smoke arriving somewhat between warm and cold … because of the length, that is ….. yes, there also is the “Gandalf” and the “Aragorn” … but I like my Bilbo best …. it’s a piece of what I would call pipe-architcture (But you know them from the films)
December 26, 2011 at 2:22 am #22315Huoommm … forgot that Gimli-pipe which by now has turned out to be the most expensive one …. though I don’t know why …
Hi Gavin, ol’ chap … “Hod Jul” is neither Irish nor Canadian … du mena julik jultid … ? … jog kan inte talar Svenska, men jog kan förstor lite …. anyway … the cats are still living and running around at your premises? – No other explosion in your kitchen this year? – Ah, then it has been a good year, me friend. Huomm… errr …May the grass grow long
on the road to hell
for want of use

December 26, 2011 at 5:03 pm #22318huoommm … thank you Master Thingol … huoommm … thank you very much …. yes, my pic doesn’t show any Hobbit indeed … rhuomm … but you know why, as that Hobbit still is in Istra at the moment, am I right? … homm?

January 15, 2012 at 12:50 pm #22685Well, a very lazy Sunday afternoon … outside there’s fog and we just can imagine about where our neighbours house might be … alas, freezing as well … so Elrond once again told me to better stay inside … so we did … poor light all day … so I decided to give him some bodyguards today for assuring him that he’s still safe here …
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_img_0006.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_img_0006.jpg[/imgz]
or some others … he’s so undecided which to choose … or even accept …
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_img_0009.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_img_0009.jpg[/imgz]
Well, I could also place him elsewhere … it’s just about the fun we have …
January 15, 2012 at 1:30 pm #22687… then we dicussed Purity (pun intended) of nickel and copper …
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_img_0011.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_img_0011.jpg[/imgz]
next was about where a head should be …
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_img_0015.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_img_0015.jpg[/imgz]
well, our Travelling Elrond had a manual … though, certain he was not, I’m afraid …
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_img_0016.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_img_0016.jpg[/imgz]
… then there was the very most important question to be answered about “Who was first?” … alas, he at once put me second in line before he started to discuss that serious matter with … ohhhh … that figure drives me crazy ….
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_img_0017.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_img_0017.jpg[/imgz]
… anyway, I hope you enjoyed a bit …
January 15, 2012 at 2:00 pm #22688interesting
please, when you are done with the pic, could you send the whole pack of pics on my mail for elrond gallery ?
January 15, 2012 at 2:23 pm #22689Err, yes, of course, Master Gildor. I hope I won’t forget, as there still are some pics to be taken outdoors. Could take some time, methinks, as I am not always the “hasty one”. But what I have read in the booklet coming along with Elrond I’m sure I’m not the one to host him longer than others did – no offence intended to anyone here. … huommm … there’s an Elrond Gallery? … good … might better find out whom to pass on our Travelling Elrond this year … could be “Protozeus” … haven’t heard of him for at least a year or so … I’ll find out ….
January 15, 2012 at 3:00 pm #22691oh I kept elrond quite a long time I know, since it was during my move
but i just mean that when he departs you can send pics so I publish them
January 15, 2012 at 5:49 pm #22694It wasn’t you I was referring to, Master Gildor, though … err … seven months was quite a bit, wasn’t it … never mind, it’s just a moment from the point of view from an old tree … <--- that's me (the tree, not the moment)
January 15, 2012 at 8:38 pm #22697… lazy, boring, slow and dull sunday time, but still in good company
… !!!
