It is good to know that our Elrond will travel again… I hope he will arrive in the grandma’s garden while the garden is still there… after all those photos it will be pity that he will not be photographed – “on the spot”…. grandma does not live here any more and old house will soon fall into the mordor arms
I thing this Elrond’s travel does not depends on the slowness of the Elf’s wisdom but only about human laziness and the absence of child’s imagination…

That is sad news Nino
February 23, 2014 at 2:38 pm #29888Sad news indeed, Thingol. I am really sorry about this. – Unfortunately I have to guess that Elrond will not arrive in time to take some pics in your Grandma’s Garden as there still are so many stays planned according to the list before he might travel to Croatia. – And yes, the slowness of Elrond’s Travel is not caused by his wisdom, but rather a matter of human laziness, as you called it. I hope I managed to get him moving again.
February 24, 2014 at 9:07 am #29891Ii wish to see him travel again…
February 26, 2014 at 5:22 am #29904Thank you Master Ent for seeing to these matters! I also am sad about the “disappearance” of Wendy–as you know from our conversations. Well, then, maybe if Elrond continues his journey we will still have a bit of Wendy with us.
February 26, 2014 at 2:50 pm #29907Indeed we will Master Twrich. – I just remember our latest contacts, so don’t forget to get back to me whenever there’s need or you just feel like it.

March 3, 2014 at 8:23 pm #29949Good to know that he is on the move again! But why worry? He has all the time in the world to travel
March 4, 2014 at 4:59 am #29952Ah Ori, it is good to see you (figuratively, of course) about these premises. And of course you are correct that the Immortal Elrond has no need to hurry. But those of us who are not immortal–everyone–don’t have forever to enjoy his company!
Yes Nino, I think you are correct, but one can hope . . . .
And thank you Master Tree for your comments above, I have not forgotten, and will be in touch with you about this and other matters before too long. But I have learned from you, my good friend, to try not to be hasty.
March 5, 2014 at 8:42 am #29955Well, being a dwarf I expect to see Elrond a few more times. You humans need to hurry up!
March 6, 2014 at 5:16 pm #29974Hi!
I lost my password into this pages, but now I searched my memory and found it again.
I’ve got news from the North that Elrond will be on the way to my place, so I do expect him most joyfully!
I’m sure that there will be some new nice pictures from his journey soon!March 6, 2014 at 5:30 pm #29975Let’s hope he doesn’t get lost on the way!
March 6, 2014 at 5:46 pm #29976Fortunately he never really got lost so far, Master Barliman. – I think he’s just not that hasty as I am.
March 6, 2014 at 5:48 pm #29977Thank you Master Halbarad II for informing us, that might have caused some relief.
March 7, 2014 at 1:39 pm #29983some great news, at last… As our wise ent has noted, Elves are not hasty as some of us.
March 7, 2014 at 3:17 pm #29985Right, but to be honest, some (plural !!!) of those who hosted our Travelling Elrond so far kept him for too Long, I think.
I know this because I already was a lucky one to host him and because of that remember what some or even many people wrote in the booklet that is attached to the “Elrond-parcel”. I often read sentences, like “… I’m sorry, I know I kept Elrond a bit too long … “
Well, but you know I’m not the one who can criticize that. Though this year I felt a bit forced to intervene. It seems to have worked a bit. I think we don’t want to have a Travelling Elrond covered with lichen, do we?
March 7, 2014 at 5:12 pm #29987… gooooo Elrond… gooooo….. !
March 7, 2014 at 7:29 pm #29989Be sure about this, dear Thingol. – as far as I could retrace his travels and kept him moving again. Of course I’m missing the guiding hand of Mistress Wendy by now, but what else could I do?
So far I just found out where Elrond was staying for some while … For that I had to enforce all my detective skills and some contacts. Nevertheless, I’m absolutely sure that Halbarad II will very soon host our “Travelling Elrond”. And I can also be sure he will pass it on to his next stay at Turambar’s place.Alas, there still is something we should have to consider.
Wendy organized all of Elronds stays and I try to keep on to that list. (You remember that there have been many changes in between). No one does try to keep record any more. I’m asking, if we could just stick to Wendy’s latest list.I need some help from you.
March 7, 2014 at 9:09 pm #29990… I sent for Wnedy message via Facbook … so we’ll see if she’ll come to the form again….
March 8, 2014 at 8:52 am #29991Hi Folks!
Is there any reference that Elrond has been at all places of the list on the first page here?
Then I think there should be a bit more pictures of the visits!
Come on fellow collectors, show the pictures to us all! -
