I have difficulty enough finding a home for my 6,000 or so wargame figures and accsssories! Now that is the million dollar question Barli, the sad answer is with great difficulty nowadays, and on a ‘fools crusade’ I collected 95% of the Sideshow WETA releases of which the majority are stored in their boxes in the loft where I can really enjoy them
. One of my madder moments I have to say and one that will not be repeated if the Hobbit movie ever gets made, but I do have a couple of the Sideshow equivalents of M16 which would now pay for a few rounds of scrumpy if I sold them.
September 3, 2010 at 9:27 pm #11794Most of them would, I imagine, and they weren’t exactly inexpensive when they first came out. That and the fact that I wouldn’t be able to house them (or myself if I’d bought them…) dissuaded me from forking out for any, superb though they were.
October 22, 2010 at 12:38 pm #12526I have question for Master Elrond…. what’s new in Master David House…. I’m sure that there are many interesting friends to visit….
….just send us short information about your new friendships you’ve find there… so we could know… enjoy dear Elrond….
October 22, 2010 at 8:32 pm #12542Well Master Elrond has visited a horse racing meeting (Yawn!!!!
), has been up to London a couple of times and made two (failed) attempts to visit Rivendell where Elven spells thwarted my attempts to find it (no I am not going soft upstairs there is a town with some Tolkien named streets).
I think he is now ready to continue his journey now so if the next person on the list PM’s me your address he can be sent on his way.
I will of course post the remaining pictures.
David
October 23, 2010 at 8:24 am #12545…. ! I’m not next person but it is nice to hear that Elrond’s spend a many nice minutes in your home…. ! We excepting pictures than, Master Artisan….
October 23, 2010 at 9:22 am #12548Thought, that Master Zoetrop should be Master Elrond´s next host.
October 23, 2010 at 10:57 am #12551Huoommm … Mistress Wendy always had an updated list. Unfortunately she wasn’t present here very often lately. I just hope she’s sitting comfortably somewhere painting miniatures.
There once was a list about Elrond’s travels and the route he’s going to take.October 23, 2010 at 11:12 am #12553So, I just saw that the latest update of Elrond’s journeys is in this thread on page 4. Thanks to Wendy. – Oh, by the way, does anyone here remember the date when Elrond started his travells?
November 24, 2010 at 11:14 pm #13474Is anyone in contact with zoetrop? I pm’d a while ago re Elrond but he may not have realised there is a message waiting
November 25, 2010 at 9:58 am #13478I can contact him directly, if you wish, David. Just let me know what to tell him.

November 26, 2010 at 8:11 am #13510Hello, it will be nice to contribute to this and get Travelling Elrond at my country… This is holy year in Santiago de Compostela, and will be nice to make a few photos of him in Sant Jacques Cathedral, or to Hercules Tower (the oldest lighthouse in the world)
Waiting news and instructions!
November 26, 2010 at 8:48 am #13511I aksed the same question months before, Master Imisel. I was told that there is a list!
You find this list on page 4, post no. #88. Have a look there.
I think, Mistress Wendy has to put you there . . . She should be informed.November 26, 2010 at 8:48 am #13512I also would be proud to host Master Elrond near my hill ! Let us know what to do please.:cool:
November 27, 2010 at 4:27 pm #13571Hi David, Master Zoetrop just informed me that he gave you his postal address a few days ago. So give our Elrond a good start to Germany (some fur boots, mittens, warm cloak, etc. required).

December 1, 2010 at 3:48 pm #13709So far Wendy tried to organize Elrond’s travels (which is a difficult task). Maybe we should contact her again about this matter.
At the moment Elrond is on his way to Germany where some Mithril friends are living. So it might take some time until Elrond will leave Germany. That time could be used to reconsider further steps, I think. What do you think, Wendy?December 1, 2010 at 3:58 pm #13710What would be the best way to add people to the list now? Maybe have him start all over again with Gavin sending him over to France again? I hate to have those who have been waiting years to wait even longer…
Could someone make sure the instructions on where to send pics are still there and if they say to send them to Dave Long, change it to my email? (wminear27 _at_ yahoo.com) It’s been so long ago, I can’t remember what I wrote.
