August 6, 2012 at 2:44 am #24638Hi all!,
I am antigono_de_cartago, from Madrid, Spain, and I am 34 years old.
I have started collecting Mithril miniatures again recently, after forgetting this hobby for many years. The recent death of a dear childhood friend (he was also 34 years old and brought me into Tolkien’s world, I.C.E.’s MERP and Mithril miniatures about 22 years ago) has caused great pain to me and collecting Mithril miniatures again is my way to alleviate the pain caused by the loss of such a longlasting friendship (nearly 30 years) and honor the memory of my lost friend.
I hope to have a good time in this forum with you all.
See you!,

August 6, 2012 at 5:03 am #24639Hello Antigono. I am sorry to hear of your loss. Welcome to our community. Here you will find many good people who have a love of the books of JRR Tolkien and Mithril figures by Chris Tubb. I also came to Mithril through ICE; and still RPG in Middle-Earh.
August 6, 2012 at 5:40 am #24640Welcome indeed, MasterAntigono. I hope you’ll also join the “Gold Status Fellowship Club” on Mithril’s own website – or perhaps you’ve already done so? There you’ll find many additional figures to collect:

The Fellowship figures are rather expensive (some are very expensive!), but they’re all well worth adding to your collection.
August 6, 2012 at 7:01 am #24641Welcome here master Antigono. I’m sorry for your loss too, but I wish you’ll find joy and happiness again in collecting and sharing with this community.
As Barliman pointed out, I encourage you at least to check what the Gold Fellowship provides. Some figurines are really masterpieces and though expensive, are quite worth their price.if you have any questions or are interested in being “flagged” for the use of Collection Manager, just let me know
August 6, 2012 at 7:40 am #24642Welcome here, Antigono. Best wishes from La Coruña
As Barliman has wisely noted, you can join most of us in Mithril Fellowship, there’s a spanish subforum there to talk with other spanish fellows. But the more active place to talk about Mithril is right here.
August 6, 2012 at 8:07 am #24643Welcome, Master Antigono. I think you’ll enjoy this website. Don’t hesitate to become an active member here.
