As a birthday gift, I got myself a GW hard case, in which I put all the goblins and then realised how dusty that shelf was. It was like something archaeologists would be impressed by. Months of accumulated painted goblins and allll the dust in off the street on and about and under the things.
In other painting little things news, I recently purchased a Dark Sword miniatures high elf warrior, after having my eye on it for years. Beautiful model. Tried painting it similarly to the GW Noldor paint style, using the GW technique of mixing Gold and “goblin” green. Only I used Army Painter equivalents. Turned out horribly. So now, for the first time in yonks, I have a figure in a jar of acetone.
Beyond all that, I got to see my movie on a big (ish) screen. Deeply weird feeling. Also on the Dean’s List for university. Whoot.
