This examples shows the REAL work, the “Director´s Cut” of The White Council.
As it would have led to excumminication if shown this way at the painting competition.
So, this is the right place to show the main conception.March 1, 2011 at 9:32 pm #15665This examples shows the REAL work, the “Director´s Cut” of The White Council.

March 1, 2011 at 9:39 pm #15667The “leaves” on the ground came from mother nature. It came out of my garden (yes, I have also one . . . )
The yellow flowers is a product from: “Green Line / Fredericus-Rex” with the code: GL-201
A bit expensive but absolutely marvellous. Milo asked for it.March 1, 2011 at 9:44 pm #15669Absolut genial ! :cool::lol::lol::lol::D:D:D
Thanks for showing the initial project also.
And these flowers will be of use for me soon or later !March 1, 2011 at 11:06 pm #15671Stunning does not describe this Master Christoph, it captures everything just perrrrfffect , and I was interested to see the fallen chair as originally I had intended to have Gandalf’s chair on its side and overhanging the base.
I am also fascinated by the design sketch as well – I would never have the patience to go through all of that process, far too hasty I am , but it ranks with the Alan Lee style of sketching imho.
David
p.s. excellent use of the Luth… OOps 😆 dancing elf princess figurine.
March 2, 2011 at 7:02 am #15673I’ve always been a supporter of Director´s Cut projects
…..brilliant ….. pure Middle earth magic dear friend !in the last 10 days I made a complete improvements on my 70 orcs painting work. Something similar to works doing by you and Eroi … and I am very satisfied with the result.
But all I’m more interested to slowly go into the world of small diorama. This is simply remarkable.
Please….. you know what
March 2, 2011 at 7:39 am #15679I want you to know that this night, I dreamt of your diorama Master archer !:lol::lol:
I also noticed you added a book. Is it Marzabul’s one ?March 2, 2011 at 8:23 am #15685Thank you very much fellows for your words. And yes, Milo, it is the Mazarbul´s book.
You dreamt of my diorama last night?! Jesus, you should change your choice of alcoholic drinks . . .:lol:March 2, 2011 at 2:42 pm #15688Even the design plans are a work of art.
March 2, 2011 at 4:36 pm #15693absolutely awesome and stunning … no words for that … your pics (e.g. the page of your sketch-book) also reveil a bit how much effort and time you very successfully put in such a project …. das ist Wahnsinn !

When I make dioramas, I never plan anything, I just start instinctly.
Still for MB560 base, before painting marbles, I did some colors tests on my computer to end with this:

In fact, all the participants on this contest have done a magnificent word. I’m so envious (in a nice way) of your amazing abilities!

March 3, 2011 at 1:14 pm #15706I had a look on the Mithril page with the 5 entries.
Sorry guys, my number one is Christoph! Absolutely mindboggling! Der helle Wahnsinn!March 3, 2011 at 1:33 pm #15707100% true… I vote for Christoph… but he alredy knows it…
March 3, 2011 at 2:34 pm #15708Unfortunately it is Chris and Lars who decide.
Nevertheless it is very kind of you that you like my work that much and I feel very much honoured.
March 3, 2011 at 5:05 pm #15709I also vote for Christoph as it is really how I imagine it… too bad the PM2 had to be removed, it was a great addition but well… ther would be copyright problem and well…
on a side note… now that the candidates have released their work, and NO MATTER the winner, could all of you candidates, allow me to use your pics to fill the database entry and possibly the gallery section?
