Greetings all. I’m new to the group. Though how I overlooked the message boards associated with Mithril all these years is beyond me. I’m from Seattle, Wa.
I started collecting Mithril Miniatures in 1988 and kept up to it until the mid 90s to late 90s. Unfortunately I traded and/or sold much of my older collection. Recently I was going through old boxes and unearthed many figures from long ago. I was happy to see I had kept more than I thought. So I dusted them off and am piecing them back together (most are out of package.) Now I am scouring the Internet trying to fill in with figures that I enjoy and am missing. Sadly most are long out of print. I really wish I would have kept up with collecting. I think Mithril Miniatures is by far my favorite line of miniatures ever produced.
Reading through the posts though, I have been able to piece together what has happened over the past 30 years and why so many are hard to get. I appreciate the wealth of information discussed here and that there are many others who have a passion for Mithril too! I’m glad to, finally, be a part of the group.
