I hope they’ll go on casting in metal: i’m not fond of resin, except for scenery.

As a late mithril collector, I’m here again with my wishlists and requests…
I’m looking for figures from Saruman Half Orc Warband, and for a variant from the Mordor Warbands… Yes, yes, I know they are very difficult to find…
…but isn’t the best place where a “newbie” like me could search?
I really hope that someone could help… THANKS!!
PS: in case, email me!…
Eventually even other similar figures could be right… CHEERS!

Definitely right!
😀
If you have some of these converted figs, you must be a very happy Ent! The fighting orcs and rohirrim, as the standard wolf rider are wonderful!
Great! And your figures are looking forward to meet you
Thank you very much!
Really wonderful!!
Yes, we’ d really love it!
:o:o:o:o:o I have no words! :o:o:o:o:o
Did you make this conversion? Superb!
Unfortunately, I must agree to mindx2: prices are bit too high
Sometimes it can depend on the auction preferences: if the seller haven’t marked the items as available for your area, you’re not able to see those as results of your research.
That’s why, sometimes, I look directly through eBay.com, though I live in Italy, to find what’s available in the USI saw it: I bidded for M68, then I had to decide if bidding even for M73… I have it already, so there was no point for me in bidding, except base speculation, so at the end I didn’t. I’m glad that someone could enjoy that wonderful (and bargained!) figure!
I guess that maybe Theobald message wasn’t referred to the use of copyrighted images, but to the unperfect correspondence between images and items on ebay.
Am I wrong, good old ent?Hi!
They are a shop “specialized” in out of stock figures/material: I guess they buy big quantities of minis, so they can still have some to sell as they go out of stock.
I have bought 3 times from them.
The service (communication, shipping) was very good and even the miniatures have come as described; the problem are prices of still in stock figures, often higher than anywhere else. If you buy directly from their site, you can even choose from different way of shipping to Europe; I’ve alwys used the slowest and the cheapest one, but the packages arrived in a good time.Unfortunately on ebay several sellers use pictures “stolen” from mithril.ie, since they show an images of well painted miniatures, that can be more attractive. You’re right: this is not very professional.
I can say that all the figures I bought from Noble Knight Game had a “stolen” image (with painted figure), but was absolutely new & still in blister, so probably that’s why they use this kind of images; if you have a look at their site, you can see that they show used minis as they are, and I guess they do this on ebay too.Since it’s me, who have begun the discussion, I think I need to explain what I meant with “reasonable”.
As you know (and better than me), wandering through ebay you can find same mithril minis for extremely different prices: sometimes “buy it now” prices are double or triple than the Faerylands evaluations.
So, what I meant with “reasonable” was: “reasonable” compared to the original price and considering the average prices suggested by Faerylands
For ex: 15 euros for M126 is definitely not reasonable (even 10 euros, in my opinion!); 70 euros for MS435 is expensive, but considering that it’s out of stock and it’s extimated around 55, it could be “reasonable” for someone. Then, obviously, personal considerations (I need this figure for my diorama; this finally will complete my collection; I can’t live without it; Sauron could be useful to scare my cat…) can really influence the evaluation… (Oh no, that damned red eye stole my girlfriend in ’85… I wouldn’t pay a dime for it!!!)
But these personal considerations refers only to the customers, not to the selling prices. So, more less that’s what I meant.
Thanks, I’m going to check it!
The regular could be ok for me.
I know it was expensive
Anyway thanks for prices advices! Thanks for answering! Yes, I know what you mean!
