how could it happen, that i have never seen this thread?
MECCG is still my favorite game. i am organizing a convention each year on a castle in Germany (usually end of Feb/beginning of Mar). lots of players from all over europe go there still. if anybody is interested: http://www.eaglecard.org/lureofmeccg/.
its not so much about competitive tournaments. new players are most welcome. we are playing for fun, a lot of Multiplayer games, the infamous Drinking Game, we us Dreamcards as mentioned here. also boardgames, and LOTR LCG is becoming more attractive each year.

ah, well. it also saddens me that there isnt that mich interest in mithril any longer. also some more bidders would be very welcme at my auctions
but then, i also lost interest in collecting the figures. there was a time when i was very fond of my collection. and i was extremely looking forward to each new release. then, for a few months “real life matters” took all my attention, and after that i somehow couldnt rekindle the fire. and after some years in boxes i finally decided to sell.

i am happy that the figures will find some new mre worthy homes now. though i also wondered about the low price on MS 530 Celebrian – someone made a real bargain, don you think, master milo?

btw: i am not selling because i need the money. being a tolkien enthusiast (founded the austrian tolkien society some years ago), i was a collector for many things from tolkiens world for many years (still very proud of my complete collection of MECCG cards in all languags
but at one point i lost interest in mithril (though now that i am looking at them again i can see why i have been fallen in love with them). to tell the truth: i always only collected, i didnt have the space to display any of them properly. and i never dared to paint any. so they went into some boxes where they collected (not too much i hope) dust. not the way it should be i guess.
after moving a few months ago i decided to let go and look for a better home.

i started with a first bunch of 100 minis at ebay. but i am also willing to let go without ebay. i guess the price list here is a very good source. (thanks to meanas for pointing it out to me. he already got the first shot)
