A cruel emissary of Sauron that met Gandalf and Aragorn at the Black Gates of Mordor. He sought to parley with them and seek their submission, by threatening a dire fate on the alleged captured Hobbits that he claimed were his master’s prisoners.
To bolster his claim he showed the Frodo’s mithril shirt along with the Elven brooch on a grey cloak and Sam’s sword. He was rebuked by Gandalf and the items were taken from him.
