No, Master Tree, the names are all – with the exception of Khamul – inventions by ICE; whence they found their way into the Mithril range, which, of course, was originally associated with the ICE role-playing game. Though I haven’t dug out the ICE books to check which book it’s in, the dragon-scale armour is also an ICE invention, and nothing to do with JRRT. The Ranger may be able to cinfirm that if he’s here, or perhaps Presto.
