And on the subject of mounted figures, I’d still like to see both Pippin and Gandalf on Shadowfax, and Leggers and Gimmers on Arod – but particularly the Gandalf and Pippin combo now that we’ve got Ingold (I can feel a vignette coming on…).

And you can make light of it as much as you like, Master Daines, but didn’t as many as three of your victories come in the space of about four months? And weren’t at least two of them in consecutive months to boot? I may be slightly wrong in the exact details (memory like a lumber room etc … or have I already said that?), but I’d call that a record. And is it the highest number of ‘wins’, in fact? Not so sure of that, but I can’t think of anyone with quite so many off the top of my head.
