My guess is that this is indeed the collection of Marc and he is the seller. A glance at some past transactions gives a few familiar names. Zoetrop might know for sure. The man may have simply moved along in his interests and divesting of his collection. It is his and, as sad as it is, he is free to do what he wants with it. Further, he doesn’t really owe anyone any explanations. We all benefitted and maybe that’s enough. Thanks Marc and good luck on the final bid!!!
