A decent proposal

Well, I´m not sure if this is the right place to put it, but here it go.

I have been recently organizing all mi miniatures in my glass cabinets, and I have discovered that I´m lacking in space very fast. So I decided to give some pieces a different use. And that is the reason of this post:

Years ago (before my rediscovering of mithril), I made some LOTR scenes with GW miniatures. One of them is this, the gates of the Helm´s Deep. It´s a simple one, well painted (not at my current level, but still good I think), with few miniatures, etc

Instead of selling it on Ebay (for not much money), I prefer to give it to anyone who really appreciate it. And I think that this community is a great place to find that person.

So, if some member wants it (for free, of course… as a gift), I´ll be pleased to send it to him.

Well, Master Regalrick has asked for it, so, if everybody is agree, i´ll send it to him

And, just thinking… I´ve some other LOTR GW painted miniatures that are in a briefcase and not in a cabinet, so, as Master Ori said and if other MMP members want, they could be a perfect pre-Christmas gift.

I´ll post the pictures of the miniatures and feel free to choose the one you like. I´ll send you in gratitude for this 2 years being part of this community

Very nice indeed but even those figures are very, very good painted I much prefer mithril.. These figures seem to me too much “plastic”….

Me too, Master Thingol. That´s why my mithril collection is growing up, and my CW LOTR not

I love them! the painting level is great, relatively to my level, I could be interested because they are beautiful and also because it could be something which can give me an example for my own painting work…..
But it’s too much for an humble newbie in the MITRIL fellowship …

Master Elroi, I just see your very very generous offer
If I may ask such a gift, is it possible to have one of your extraordinary work that I love? It’s not for me but for my husband who collects GW; perhaps the King of men if anyone else has already asked you or another of your choice.
For me, it will be a great gift to have a copy of your work and in addition I will please my husband 😉

I would prefer the orc, if it is possible. I really like your work, Master Roi and I would like to see it “real”.
Though I don´t like “the other company-miniatures” at all . . . this orc should be an exception.

Of course, you are very welcome to this initiative

I think is nothing to “shame” about if we like other LOTR miniatures that are not mithril. GW itself has a few ones of extraordinary quality (the first fellowship series, for example, is brilliant). After all, mithril is not a wife to be absolutely faithful to

For example, the spanish company Knight Models, has some astonishing 75 mm miniatures (I probably will paint the Gandalf soon).

that’s too nice!

I’m interested with both white figures (always interesting to see how white could be paint, but I want to paint those ones – I like GW LoTR figures, sorry! – ) so I think I will choose the Elf archer !
I like his colours and the use of black and gold ….

PD. Do you live in Malaga? If so, I would like to make you a visit sometime to see your artwork. I use to go to Malaga quite often (Not now that I have a newborn at home, but I guess I will go down sometime)
