i have read about a so-called unofficial price guide a few times here and would like to ask if there is a pdf version of it or anything like that? also, would anybody have access to an old prince august fantasy catalog (pdf as well)?

i have pictures of all the miniatures on my want lists, but such a central point of reference would greatly alleviate research and updates.

For estimates, Master Zoetrop is the man. Just send him a mail.
By the way, MMP database already contains 2009 estimates.
For what I observed in 2010, it seems crises broughts Ebayer expenses down by 30%.

Regarding Prince august datasheets, Gavin posted some on MMP recently:

I guess you can request the pdf version to him. Master Gildor is also adding CH references in the MMP database.

and also all the CH figurines have their entry in the database, with pictures, (there are more pictures in the database than in the poster provided by Gavin actually, which is not complete)

milo, thanks — i shall contact him. too bad the prince august scans are quite small, however.

this is where i saw the collector’s guide for the first time (on facebook):

gildor, i had checked the entries in the database — i had all these images before — the black & white ones are actually from a catalog dedicated to the prince august fantasy range, it was sold on ebay, but someone beat me to it.

there was also a pile of mithril flyers and leaflets a couple of weeks ago, too. i didn’t want to spend the money that they went for in the end.

Well, Master Cameosis, the first pic is about a catalogue I know very well.
There are just about 50 (+6 or so) copies, as far as I know. I don’t know who put it on “facebook” as I don’t frequent those sites.
Master Milo is right saying that Master Zoetrop keeps record about averaging prices of Mithril-figures for many years, and thankfully he still does.
As he passed on to me his ideas of having a complete Mithril-catalogue being printed (sic) I joined. So I started to pass on all of my catalogues to Mithril-friends. (Mind, that just there were few).
Still, as I can see from reactions, there’s interest. – Within the last years I witnessed a desire to have a complete Mithril-History of all figures. –
So I think, what Master Zoetrop and me started in the last years met the interest of some people who were always saying “Yes, I always wanted to do something like that” …
Things are improving … though … I’m just a pawn in that game.

interesting pics indeed! I did not know about the Prince August catalog but indeed i possess the pages from within, alas these are scanned pages of low quality…

as for the EQ figurines it’s the first time I see them blistered!

Master Jan Boom Fangorn has left picture of this catalogue for sure…. on few pages on facebook…. his page, Fans of mithril miniatures, and on MITHRIL MINATURES – TOLKIEN FIGURES COLLECTORS ( his creation site )

Interesting information … he should wait till the end of this year and maybe he would have opportunity to put into a catalogue Helms deep series no 2 or maybe 3 too…. With dynamic of mithril regular releases best possible way is to update this great guide every 2 years… or 3…
