Just a ‘draft’ copy of Beregond and the Troll to get this one painted up. I will be adding to this scene and touching the paintwork up a bit before it is finally completed, but as I am not at all Entish and far toooooo hasty, here is a sneak peek ;).

The wooden base is not the intended final base.

I was inspired Gildor, inspired :D. As I say this will not be the final version as I want to add some more figures to it, but I thought it would be nice to get a couple of photos posted.

Had the troll been more the size of the older Mithril trolls this would have been a very ‘Troll heavy’ scene 😆

If it is not a problem we could put preview of the pictures here, just before we send them to Michael….

I intend to begin separating parts, and undercoat them and assemble what can be assembled tomorrow and begin painting the base

I’m not sure I will manage to start this week-end as I have flu since tuesday. Best I can manage to do in going from bed to sink, get a glass of water, then back to bed.
Please tell Barliman I won’t visit the pony for a while. He may not need as much food as usual…Unless he can send Nob with fried potatoes, bacon to my hole.

Welcome to my life, Yves :) I cannot almost talk with a big aphonia since first week of april… Now feeling much better, thanks my girlfriend care. I guess your family is doing the same, so we can see you soon here again drinking some beers.

                        Best Regards,

At the start it was Master David´s thread to post his amazing painting examples on the marvellous Berebond vignette !

Now it is somekind of Master Milo´s thread tp prepare his birthday, to talk about his illnesses and lead to wording-discussions.

Sad, what happened with master David´s thread . . .

Seems that “Hobbits” tend to “watering down” topics . . .

mmhh some cool drink is needed in thhere it seems :) and I agree many posts are irrelevant to this thread let’s refocus, gentlemen

as for myself, I spent time this saturday morning to cut loose all the small parts , in itself, and in order to be careful it took me almost half an hour… only to consider my mistake… now I have all parts loose, all scabards mainly and I don’t know which ones goes for which character… well I’ll use the pics on the website… this vignette is typically a vignette that would have required some more assembling pictures suggestions/notice from Mithril

Yes, Master Gildor, good things need time, that is. As for a cool drink, I think we’re right to settle troubles, that’s the best way to do it, methinks. “Re-focus” you said, Master Gildor, and that’s right again. – As for troubles, just go outside, focus a tree with its springing leaves, and think it is me. He will not harm you or even intend to do so. It’s just me, the tree.
I never came across such a brilliant vignette so far. Yes, assembling and all that takes a lot of time. But once you finished, it turns out to be a real marvel. It’s extraordinary.

Nice one David. I see a lot of improvements in the past 4 years. I still have my Prancing Poney diorama sitting on the bench.
