Just posting this on behalf of a collector from the US of A who posted on the Faceache ‘Friends of Mithril Miniatures page. Do any members have any information? Apparently it is also a one-piece casting and note that there are several differences to the released figure.

April 27, 2019 at 9:43 am #37776To me it looks like the painted one is the “finished one”, because it got more details added.
April 27, 2019 at 11:02 pm #37777I think Master Hsf62 is absolutely correct with his judgement about this – – – – no, I’m sure he is.
April 28, 2019 at 9:30 am #37778I suppose the guy on the right is yours Master ddaines. It fits the one on the Mithril page.
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/6_ms506.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/6_ms506.jpg[/imgz]I would like to know where he got the figure from. Is it possible to ask him?
It doesn’t make sense to make a mould cast the guy and then add details to it. Exept it was a Master figure and CT changed it before they produced the production mould. Anything else doesn’t make sense….April 28, 2019 at 6:18 pm #37780I looked at my figure and it looks like the painted one … I do not understand why somebody have removed details from the miniature and make it the “poorer one” … Without much more detail on the belts and buckles on the cloak etc…. I also think that this could be some kind of master figure…. If it si this true guy is lucky man…

I’ll ask where he obtained the one-piece unpainted version from, but as you can see the cloaks are different lengths, the main belt buckle is different and there appears to be a ‘trim’ on the bottom of his tunic.
I guess it is likely as you say that it was a master figure prior to full production
