This conversion was meant to fill in the gap of the lost Half-orc archer of the Mw347 (346) Saruman’s Army
casted by N.N.[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_lost_archer_v.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_lost_archer_v.jpg[/imgz]

January 14, 2009 at 7:07 pm #4123I don’t know where he took the parts from … I can only identify the head.
January 14, 2009 at 7:49 pm #4124The chariot now …
N.N. sent me a lot of casted parts … so I had to choose and assemble. There were alternative castings of the horses and the warriors. This chariot had become a challenge to me. So I started.
I tried my best choosing the parts available and making a “Dunlending Chariot” (this is what N.N. named it). Then I tried to combine all those parts with a typical Mithril grey undercoating to make them fit. I added some thread somehow.[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_chariot_3.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_chariot_3.jpg[/imgz]

January 15, 2009 at 9:47 pm #4126Some fascinating stuff here
January 16, 2009 at 3:46 pm #4133Here’s a strange conversion by N.N. The Half-orc obviously shows a head and clothes sculpted by Chris. I cannot identify the grappling hook and the rope.

January 16, 2009 at 9:48 pm #4138Master Tree, I have a few of those castings given to me from someone on here. I have that Rohan archer, Hama (or King Theoden for me) and a few Rohan riders. I like what has been posted here and this is what I wanted you to show me when I asked about a month ago. Thank you!
January 16, 2009 at 10:06 pm #4139Here are the ones that I was talking about:

People, you find more of this excellent work by Holger in the gallery of Mayor Samweis.
I am very happy, Holger, about the quality of your photographs, which gets at last extremely high.January 20, 2009 at 10:49 am #4168At the moment I’m playing with my wifes camera….
Not fully worked out yet, but I’m getting there.January 20, 2009 at 11:04 am #4169I don’t think we should go there.
I don’t want to wake sleeping dogs.January 20, 2009 at 11:12 am #4170Well done Master Estel!
This orc looks like he is looking for trouble!January 20, 2009 at 11:16 am #4171Yes, wonderful again, Estel. Especially the choose of colour…as I said it before several times. Wonderful painting and wonderful converted also.
January 20, 2009 at 11:22 am #4172Very nice guys.

And for all those, who love my painting style (or hate it ).
Actuallly a view from the side would be nice.
Every painting style is welcome Master Estel, I myself cannot paint fine detail on such small figures instead I have to use the trick of using the overall appearence of the figure to put across my artwork and use dry brush and washes.
January 20, 2009 at 10:06 pm #4181Mr. Obama would say: yes you can . . .
January 20, 2009 at 10:32 pm #4183As a question:
What does the master caster charge for castings?
January 21, 2009 at 1:16 am #4184It depends on if the figure is on foot or on horseback. Send him a message and he will be happy to let you know.
