Here are some more examples of the ‘cut and paste’ type of conversion. These are almost completely painted and shields are left off[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/21_axes.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/21_axes.jpg[/imgz]
January 25, 2009 at 9:36 pm #4223Here is a painted version of the cast conversion Theobald posted at the top of this page.

[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/21_m179.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/21_m179.jpg[/imgz]January 25, 2009 at 9:42 pm #4226Very great conversions indeed, Dude of Westerness. Especially the last ones. The anchor with the chain: brilliant ! And I also like orcs/halforcs with axes, in general.
January 25, 2009 at 10:53 pm #4228Thank you very much, Ken, for contributing to this thread with those above … let’s keep on, please
January 25, 2009 at 11:54 pm #4230Here is another Conversion with M333 and a Balista from GW.

You all might see, that this is what I wanted this thread to be like. Just to collect nice ideas about conversions and the like.
It might be entertaining once you’ve got nothing better to do than to scroll and stroll here and have a look. It also might be inspiring for the ones looking for ideas.
I cannot say thank you to every future entry here as that might become a bit annoying to scrollers and strollers.I’m sure that in the course of this year I will be able to add some more conversions. But … well, you know … I really cannot haste.
February 6, 2009 at 4:37 pm #4308long time ago, somebody had posted here . . .
o.k., encouraged by all these wonderful conversions, it was time do the same way.
There was this unbeloved rohan axe-warrior (M 259) . . .
Impressed by the glorious M5 the way to my first conversion was in front of me.
And be sure: the shield is there and will find its place.[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/32_rohirarcher.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/32_rohirarcher.jpg[/imgz]
February 17, 2009 at 3:25 pm #4376All finished conversions online in the Mithril Gallery under section “Collector’s Galleries / Conversions” (Please Theobald, can you check all the pictures that have been put online and remove them from the forum now (removing both the posts and the pictures in the “upload section” to retrieve some disk space indeed people are invited to check the mithril gallery and this thread should carry on by posting new pictures ideas and conversions from this point forward indeed!
Thank you for all your contributions, I hope you’ll enjoy the way I organized them in the gallery)
NB: Some pictures too small or unfinished have not been put in the gallery and I think their place is better on the forum but you can indeed ask me to put them in the gallery if need beNext… sending online all private contributions, from Rita.de , Zoetrop, Theobald etc… I don’t forget you all, I still have your pics on my workstation to treat
March 16, 2009 at 9:50 pm #4611Well, this is not about conversion per se, but simply “added” to the original figure. Some I have already taught, but with poorer quality

September 20, 2010 at 4:56 pm #12082Strange things arrived today at my place once again. I just had the time to take these rather bad pics just to give away a thought what this is about. Just schemes there are, but you might guess what the figures are about.
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_harad_1_impression.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_harad_1_impression.jpg[/imgz]
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_3rd.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_3rd.jpg[/imgz]
I provided this just for fun and can promise to pass on better pics.
September 20, 2010 at 5:36 pm #12085Whoah, those are lovely work!
One day, one day I’ll have a Haradan cavalry formation as good as that.
One day!
September 20, 2010 at 6:31 pm #12087Yes, lovely work indeed … though you cannot see all the details about the conversions from these two pics … and the perfect way of converting so many details for each figure to become a single piece, an individual, so to say.
Before this might cause any trouble here, I would like to point out clearly that those figures were never put into production, never sold or traded. All these are gifts I did not ask for, as I could not, because until today I didn’t even know that they were existing, and to be honest, the quality of the figures is brilliant.
I chose to provide pics here again for what I once called “Mithril-history”. That is what I did with many other items that were passed on to me as gifts (though some of them I had to assemble myself).
I do feel so much honoured because of this for years by now. Though I don’t know why all this seems to be concentrating on me. I did not ask for it at all. I didn’t pay for any figure, I will not sell any figure as these are original conversions… alas, I’m afraid I’m in a mess.
I just intend to provide some fun for Mithril-maniacs without causing trouble … rhuoommm … and to be honest, I also try to keep some record and provide here what later might be forgotten.
So I have to thank my Mithril-friends here for giving me the chance to do so.September 20, 2010 at 8:13 pm #12088…this pictures and conversions are amazing… and yes we are mithri maniacs and yea it is a pleasure to see figures such that… and you have a great friends respected Master Tree….. really great… ! Please send those pictures to Master Gildor.. for a conversions gallery ! Thanks for this beauty hommmmrhoommmmmm
