Sorry I forgot to tell that all these are from N.N. and I just found a conversion of the Dunlanding LR-standard-bearer … well …
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_dunlending_lr_jim_c_1.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_dunlending_lr_jim_c_1.jpg[/imgz]
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_dunlending_lr_2_jim_c.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_dunlending_lr_2_jim_c.jpg[/imgz]by now I’m afraid that I didn’t take pics of all conversions I have …. have to look …
January 16, 2011 at 2:30 pm #14539Well, how to cope? – I dunno.
I once started collecting conversions as there was a lack in the production of Mithril figures for years. The last set I received was the 1st set of “Helm’s Deep”. I had to keep on collecting, you know. So, when you have all Mithrils and don’t know how collecting might go on … you get back to collecting such things as conversions. By now they come close to a third of the number of original Mithril-releases. Which means a lot and might explain that I forgot.
As for that Dunlending conversion above (which is not perfect at all) I remembered that there are more conversions having to do with Saruman’s attack. I found some nice ones N.N. sent me last year. They’re Uruk-Hai conversions by Peter Hammerskold. – Hmmm … For those young ones among us that name will not tell anything. Peder, Jim and Ken worked together once in the USA, long time ago.
Anyway, here are Peter’s conversions of the Uruk-Hai
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_uruk-hai_1-1.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_uruk-hai_1-1.jpg[/imgz]
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_uruk-hai_1-2.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_uruk-hai_1-2.jpg[/imgz]
then the next …
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_uruk-hai_2-1.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_uruk-hai_2-1.jpg[/imgz]
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_uruk-hai_2-2.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_uruk-hai_2-2.jpg[/imgz]
then both …
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_uruk-hai_beide_1.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_uruk-hai_beide_1.jpg[/imgz]
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_uruk-hai_beide_2.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_uruk-hai_beide_2.jpg[/imgz]it’s hard to handle all this, as time is limited … I hope you enjoyed …

January 16, 2011 at 9:08 pm #14552Err … I always thought that this Mathom House here was meant to provide pics of conversions.
That’s why I used it to provide pics here. In case I was wrong I could …. no, ney, never …
that *d….d* Easterling chariot is next on the agenda ….
As you might see, Master Thingol, I’m not a master of organizing things …April 10, 2011 at 11:50 am #16671I couldn’t haste taking pictures … though in the end I managed … I want to have you a look at some conversions by our dear Master Caster Hsf62, you might know about his talent of butchering nice tiny-metal things and then then puttings the pieces back in place in the right order … wonder if he could ever solve a simple jigsaw puzzle …..
Anyway, let’s start with some Half-orcs …
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_half-orc_51.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_half-orc_51.jpg[/imgz]

So these are some more lads for Saruman’s Army.
April 10, 2011 at 11:57 am #16673Then there’s this Dwarf with a mace and a “wrong” dwarven shield …
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_dwarf_2.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_dwarf_2.jpg[/imgz]
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_dwarf_1.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_dwarf_1.jpg[/imgz]
April 10, 2011 at 12:00 pm #16674an angry orc …
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_orc_2.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_orc_2.jpg[/imgz]
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_orc_1.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_orc_1.jpg[/imgz]
April 10, 2011 at 12:04 pm #16675and, of course, that Razarac with some larger wings … I think this oneis very much more impressive than the original one … but we don’t have to discuss again if Razaracs can fly (of course not, as we all know)
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_razarac_1.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_razarac_1.jpg[/imgz]
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_razarac_2.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_razarac_2.jpg[/imgz]
April 10, 2011 at 12:07 pm #16676That’s it for today … though … there’s still a feeling that I forgot one or the other figure … I have to tidy up, meseems.
April 10, 2011 at 7:09 pm #16687it is always nice to see all those mithril conversions pictures in one place…..
April 10, 2011 at 8:11 pm #16692I really like that Angmar orc with the raised arm!
April 10, 2011 at 8:49 pm #16695Absolutely great stuff!
Especially the ex-standard-bearer of the “lost” Saruman´s army . . .. . .could be a next project . . .
April 11, 2011 at 9:20 am #16716IMPRESSIVE !!!!!!!!
:D:D:D
April 13, 2011 at 9:08 pm #16770If you have a close look at the pics Master theobald provided, you will recognize a certain Halforc.
I added an oxogonal shield on his back.
I decided to cut the former diorama of “The Turtle”- somebody might remember this diorama . . .
This Holforc conversion is so great that I made my mind up to give him a special place. Have a look:[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/32_small0410.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/32_small0410.jpg[/imgz] [imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/32_small0415.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/32_small0415.jpg[/imgz]

April 14, 2011 at 12:50 pm #16806A nice new view of a great conversion!
April 14, 2011 at 1:49 pm #16810Absolutely great, Master Turambar … as always I cannot keep my eyes from your brilliant choice of colours and your way of presentation figures.
Another reason why I do like Master Hsf62’s conversions of some Half-orcs is, that their weapons really can be called “pikes” used to fight against mounted troops.April 14, 2011 at 8:30 pm #16818imisel wrote:…Too much re-watching of “Empire Strikes Back” 😆How you know that !
but I’m not alone here
