Sorry I forgot to tell that all these are from N.N. and I just found a conversion of the Dunlanding LR-standard-bearer … well …

Well, how to cope? – I dunno.
I once started collecting conversions as there was a lack in the production of Mithril figures for years. The last set I received was the 1st set of “Helm’s Deep”. I had to keep on collecting, you know. So, when you have all Mithrils and don’t know how collecting might go on … you get back to collecting such things as conversions. By now they come close to a third of the number of original Mithril-releases. Which means a lot and might explain that I forgot.
As for that Dunlending conversion above (which is not perfect at all) I remembered that there are more conversions having to do with Saruman’s attack. I found some nice ones N.N. sent me last year. They’re Uruk-Hai conversions by Peter Hammerskold. – Hmmm … For those young ones among us that name will not tell anything. Peder, Jim and Ken worked together once in the USA, long time ago.

It is great to have N.N. for a friend…. for sure ! Please send all these images Gildor, to fill conversion gallery… so we could see it on one place. It can very significantly affect an our inspiration in undefined in a near future Thanks in advance dear wise entish friend….

I couldn’t haste taking pictures … though in the end I managed … I want to have you a look at some conversions by our dear Master Caster Hsf62, you might know about his talent of butchering nice tiny-metal things and then then puttings the pieces back in place in the right order … wonder if he could ever solve a simple jigsaw puzzle …..

and, of course, that Razarac with some larger wings … I think this oneis very much more impressive than the original one … but we don’t have to discuss again if Razaracs can fly (of course not, as we all know)

If you have a close look at the pics Master theobald provided, you will recognize a certain Halforc.
I added an oxogonal shield on his back.
I decided to cut the former diorama of “The Turtle”- somebody might remember this diorama . . . :rolleyes:
This Holforc conversion is so great that I made my mind up to give him a special place. Have a look:

Absolutely great, Master Turambar … as always I cannot keep my eyes from your brilliant choice of colours and your way of presentation figures.
Another reason why I do like Master Hsf62’s conversions of some Half-orcs is, that their weapons really can be called “pikes” used to fight against mounted troops.
