June 26, 2013 at 11:55 pm #28139great pictures — thanks, theobald!
June 27, 2013 at 9:36 am #28143mmhh I thought there were something like 10 or 12 dwar.. I don’t know where I have read that or if I mixed up some info…
oh and actually… I do not possess EVERY figurine
I miss some, in some cases, actually , master Milo has more figurines than I do…(with PA figurines, and definitly more duplicates and blistered ones)June 27, 2013 at 10:56 am #28144. . . 10-12. I got this information too, Master Elf. It was mentioned somewhere here . . .
June 27, 2013 at 11:02 am #2814510 (-) or)) 12…… what a mistery…. what about 13… actually…how does he come to all of you .. with purchasing or giving as a gift…
June 27, 2013 at 11:03 am #28146I have one more question …. what is the purpose of a figure in the shelf (and another one in blister)…..
June 27, 2013 at 12:39 pm #28148. . . I have never understand this . . .
To leave the figure inside its blister: a later selling couldbe the only reason for that.
If I would be a collector I will certainly put the figure elsewhere. In case of the Dwar of Waw figure I would evan stick his arm.
June 27, 2013 at 1:05 pm #28150Well, Master Thingol, first I can say that I received my Dwaw(r) as a gift from The Man.
Second, from my point of view Master Turambar is right. I’m a collector and display my collection in glass cabinets. So the first thing always is to unpack a figure and assemble it, if necessary. – What would be the use of displaying a collection in blisters?June 27, 2013 at 5:27 pm #28155So do I.
Every miniature I intend to keep are outside blisters (even if I kept every blister cards). Then the only ones I keep in blisters are for helping other collectors.June 28, 2013 at 12:42 am #28162Theobald wrote:What would be the use of displaying a collection in blisters?that would be a blistering collection, my friend.
June 28, 2013 at 7:03 am #28164Good breakfast all of you
I display a set of my collection in cabinet but I try also to keep an original blister of each figure. Probably collector obsessive-compulsive disorder
June 28, 2013 at 7:50 am #28166aahhh, this is quiet interesting, Master Mornedhel.
This is a fine alternative.
Being myself just a painter, a visit in the “depths pf Fangorn” brought me to enlightenment.
Now I have all figures twice. A painted version and a “collective version”.
Without blister! 😆There is a fresh croissant waiting for me . . .
