I just saw a very unique Dwarf in newsletter: MS617 Thorin and Roäc.
I love it ! Especially the face which seems to be new CT style.[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/553_ms617-preview.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/553_ms617-preview.jpg[/imgz]
November 4, 2015 at 8:14 am #33290Yes, it’s nice, but the raven looks rather too small – ravens are socking big birds. Proportions would be about right if this was a man, but it’s a dwarf. It should be about 20%–25% bigger.
November 4, 2015 at 8:42 am #33291I think ravens are same size as Saruman Crebains. Am I right ?
November 4, 2015 at 8:57 am #33292Crebain are inventions of JRRT, and seeminly crow-like. Crows are considerably smaller than ravens.
November 4, 2015 at 10:18 am #33293This is wise comparison.
CT may think crebains are raven-like.November 4, 2015 at 10:29 am #33295Yes: the raven do look a bit too small. But anyway, this seems to be a really nice figure . . .
November 4, 2015 at 8:45 pm #33297Figure is magnificent for me…. raven it could be bigger but this is also fine…
November 5, 2015 at 11:15 am #33309Oh I share your thoughts but that face is looking very different form the rest so maybe you are right Milo!! In fact it looks a lot like Gimli from the LOTR movies xD
December 9, 2015 at 8:37 am #33625New hole in range (MS618 – Merry sounds the horn of Rohan) but 2 new releases added in MMP database.

Whoever suggested him should have saved him for a mounted figure month.
Thorin is nice too, though his bird isn’t as raven-ish as it could have been, in particular the size/shape of his beak, and he’s probably a bit small – perhaps only 80% what he should be?
I’m moaning a bit this morning, aren’t I? That’s probably because I’m just off to see one of my various doctors – that always puts me in a bad mood!
December 9, 2015 at 4:11 pm #33627Well, as for the MS618 figure I think that should be the winner of November 2014 (Earnur at the battle of…) as Angbor was the winner in December 2014. I hope I remember well.
Then keep in mind that so far the winner of May 2014 also is not released yet (Merien, princess of Dol Amroth).December 9, 2015 at 4:30 pm #33628Theobald wrote:Well, as for the MS618 figure I think that should be the winner of November 2014 (Earnur at the battle of…) as Angbor was the winner in December 2014. December 9, 2015 at 5:46 pm #33630Perhaps the Tolkien Estate objected to her for some reason?
December 9, 2015 at 7:41 pm #33632I think Michael wrote somewhere there has been a mistake between CT & PA about this mini and it shall be released in january 2016.
December 9, 2015 at 10:46 pm #33635See, that’s the way things go wrong.
Mornedhel, I have seen the picture you provided of a finished Merien-figure once as well.
No, Barliman, TE did not object to that figure being produced.
Then, about a few months ago there was again one more hassle about figures and dates and numbers. So then I contacted Michael and asked him about Merien. After a while he aswered (I think maybe also somewhere in public) that “the problem” was solved after Chris (that’s what Michael said) had “misplaced” the finished figure somewhere but had sent it to Ireland in the meantime. And by then everything was fine again and the Merien-figure will be released early in 2016.So, to come to an Ent, I guess that things like this can quickly turn into rumours … and you know what is characteristic of rumours, don’t you.
Well, after some days also the “problem” with a missing MS505 that “Khador” reveiled on the official Mithril-Fellowship-board was solved by Mr O’Brien. (You find that in this annoying-and-luckily-seldom-used shout box-thing … alas I’m getting back to my Treeish whenever I get angry, sorry)December 9, 2015 at 10:56 pm #33636Trees must be trees, Master Ent. No need to apologise.
December 18, 2015 at 8:14 am #33715Merien is covered by a scarf and veil of secrecy…. I hope she will be produced soon….
December 18, 2015 at 8:15 am #33716Does anyone knows which one this year will be Christmas figure….. !?!?! Christmas’s in 6 days from today…
December 18, 2015 at 8:21 am #33718Seems that they aim for “Bilbo wearing the Ring” this year…
Well, Merien does look good.
