      Hi all

I bought “one of each” from Time Machine Miniatures in 2006, so I have about 12 or 13 variants from the set.

However perusing the listing for [mith]MW337[/mith] I see mention of swordsmen. TMM doesn’t sell these swordsmen (or didn’t).

Does anyone have any images of these, out of curiousity?

There are no swordmen in that Gondorian army – except those two officers on foot. All soldiers are spearmen in variant poses, so maybe Gildor just was mistaken in his database, as there have never been Gondorian swordmen in the original set.
          That’s all I know of.

well this is true… a mistake from me… but there is a difference between spearmen and pikemen… (those who stand in a defensive pose and the others who are rather throwing their spear)

There is indeed – they are called pikemen, but they are pretty short pikes. Mostly its just spearmen attacking and defending (which is perfectly alright!)

              :D
