– only 150 Aragorn 54mm “christmas 1988” were made
AND
– only 250 “christmas 1989” sets were made. Someone (whom I cannot manage to contact alas), a certain “Thorondil” posted somewhere that he has one of them, numbered #6 out of 150. it is a set of three 32mm figurines with elven appearance. (probably Isildur and who knows who else? Gil-Galad? Elendil?…)

I have never seen anything of the 89 set. Can it be that it is just a rumour? Certainly if 250 have been made the odd picture would have shown up, considering that rarer casts are common lore.
there are too much people talking about it from several places … that I find it diffficult to be a rumor… after all the 88 Aragorn was also a rumor before he showed up on ebay… the sources are from BEFORE the release of the aragorn and so far they had proved right.
I can’t be sure about the batch of 250…. indeed, but a fact is sure, this “trio” of figurines do exist somewhere. Maybe they have later been recast in a similar MS form though (Isildur and the one ring for example) who knows…
well… two years for a couple of pics… and now four weeks waiting for an email (I have still no answer, after having received a preliminary answer from the Man stating he would answer me.. three fridays ago… which he has not) is not what I would consider hasty , no disrespect to you master ent
