Hi
May you help me on this figure. It’s nearly the same as Legolas LO5 but:
The base is clearly not the same and the figure is primed;
The date on the base is 199?, earlier than the 2001 LO5 date
The hair and cape are a bit different; Thanks

December 5, 2011 at 9:41 am #22019AH, but I need this one ! you would not sell it by any chance?
it may belong to those series of 54mm prototypes… how did you get it? It seems there is no bow with it or you just did not include it in the picture?
December 5, 2011 at 9:42 am #22020….. undiscovered treasure…. houuuummmmmmmm ! Surprise….. only real fanatics have the answer on this…. so guys… who knows…. !?!?! I’m completely overwhelmed with curiosity…. Or maybe I’m wrong….
December 5, 2011 at 9:48 am #22021Master Gildor, it seems, there is a new entrance to add in MMP [ Uniques & Rarities Gallery ]
Never seen nor heard about this miniature before.
As Master Thingol wrote, highest fanatics (or Chris Tubb ?) may have the answer.
Thanks for sharing this with us.December 5, 2011 at 9:51 am #22022Ah ha!!!!
This is indeed very much surprising!!!!!December 5, 2011 at 9:51 am #22023I wonder if it could be part of ME collection?
December 5, 2011 at 9:53 am #22024I asked the man, including the pictures, about this figurine… I’ll wait for his answer and I’ll relay it there
I first thought it could be one of the forgotten ME… but the ME list was established and does not include Legolas :
ME1: Gandalf,
ME2: Aragorn,
ME3: Frodo and Sam,
ME4: Galadriel,
ME5: Boromir in combat pose,
ME6: Hithaeglir Orcmaybe there were more, after all, there is this Saruman 54mm…. there are the three white prototypes I have (of which it appears Mornedhel also has)
as I am quite interested in 54mm I would be really interested if you have any other 54mm Mornedhel
oh by the way the date is clear it is not 199? it is Chris’99 so this figurine is from 1999, while the ME are from 1993 as far as i remember.
December 5, 2011 at 9:59 am #22025Thanks for interest.
This figure was not even in shelves, just in a box. I promise to take picture of blistered Mithril for the Wiki this week end when i found it in my “Mithril Master” box.
I think I will go on to check all my figures I left in boxes as I have not enough place….Thijl
December 5, 2011 at 10:04 am #22026So we hope to see more undiscovered treasures ! 😆

So this maybe a [mith]LO5[/mith] pre-release or prototype ?
December 5, 2011 at 10:09 am #22028On the base it is also written “mithril CS”.
What the hell CS stands for ? :rolleyes:December 5, 2011 at 10:11 am #22029in 1999, only the LR figurines were released, and the LO followed soon after LO5 was released in 2001 I think.
since [mith]54Proto1[/mith] [mith]54Proto2[/mith] [mith]54Proto3[/mith] [mith]54Proto4[/mith] seem a bit different though. The base does not mention anything and they are elaborated base meant for display and promotion (big hexagonal bases or rune incrusted, like most Christmas figurines) This Legolas has the typical shape of the LT range though…which makes it from a different kind than the others
December 5, 2011 at 10:12 am #22030CS could mean a lot of things “Character Series” would be quite fitting… but that’s only hypothetical

It’s sometimes hard to remember how I get some Mithril (even the prototypes I am not sure).
I am used to send for years belgian chocolates (famous praline) as Chrismas gift to Prince August full team in Cork to thanks them for their job. I think I received this one as a new year gift from them.December 5, 2011 at 10:59 am #22032tsss, chocolates can “buy” anything it seems hehe
Please if you have any other of those rarities, share them with us

Chris Tubb””
December 6, 2011 at 10:49 am #22049It is interesting. And now such a figure, which may have occurred by mistake, it can become a real treasure for collectors ……..
December 6, 2011 at 4:22 pm #22054well seems the answer came to Mornedhel from the Man, but I did not get any information myself…
I hope I’ll find opportunities to get my hands on more info… or on the figurine itself…
