As sugested by Master Turambar, I move here discussions related to Mithril catalogs. I have cleaned my posts in Master Gerold’s “Missing catalog pages” and invite other fellows to do so.
I managed to find an “unknown” mithril catalogue (last week):
It is 1st french mithril catalogue, dated 1989. Several minaitures are shown with grey primer, from [mith]M63[/mith] to [mith]M129[/mith]. I shall scan these pages and post pictures here.Theobald wrote:That would be kind, Master Milo. I’m sure you remember that I’m very much interested in catalogues about Mithril miniatures.Turambar wrote:You certainly should do so, Master Milo . . .Here are scan for the small french mithril catalogue (A5 format):

Interesting beneath the colour scheme are the photographs of early mithril figures in a very fine quality.
I would be very interesting in these sheets- always on the hunt for fine photos- as you know . . . and I would be pleased if you can send them to me.
A drink for Master Milo please!Turambar wrote:Master Milo- I have to confess, that I am still interesting in those scans of your small catalogue . . .Sorry for the delay. Mail sent

Turambar wrote:Oh: about those textes I remind on your “dragon-magazine-scans”, Milo, do you remember- those advertise sheets you sent me long time ago . . .
Maybe there is a similar text to find . . .You are right Christoph, there is some text on these adverts.
For those interrested, adverts are all scanned and available in MMP gallery “unique and rarities gallery” section.I wonder if we should add a “catalog scans” section in MMP gallery.
I feel it would be interresting and also helpfull to provide existing catalogs in pdf.
There I would also add Master Zoetrop catalog and updates I have made since 2011.
Does that make sense to everyone?March 24, 2016 at 9:13 am #34275Turambar wrote:As far as Master Zoetrop´s work is concerned I think you have to ask Master Zoetrop for publishing it here, Master Milo!
The other question: is there really anybody out there WITHOUT knowledge of Zoetrop´s catalogue? You are right Master archer about Master Zoetrop catalog. I would not publish anything without his consent.
Maybe it would be wiser to list all known catalogs and provide download links (if any exists) to avoid any copyright issues.Maenas wrote:I am not sure if I know which is that catalogue your are talking about.
I have a catalogue marked as mithril 2010 catalogue and collector’s guide with a lot of pages with all miniatures from m1 to ms563, that I think corresponds to the one you were talking about. Am i right?Indeed. Master Zoetrop created mithril catalogs in 2009 and 2010. Since 2011, I make for myself & MMP fellows catalog updates everytime new releases allow me to achieve a new page.
March 24, 2016 at 9:19 am #34276Theobald wrote:So you are talking about two completely different catalogues here.Concerning Herbert’s catalogues I think Turambar is right suggesting to contact Herbert and ask him before providing his catalogue here on MMP. I was a bit involved in those two catalogues and from that time I remember well that Herbert did not want to have it published here.
Turambar wrote:As far as Master Zoetrop (Herbert) is concerned I do know exactly about this too. Namely that he doesn´t want it to be publihed here!
Thankfully Master Tree mentioned that.Posting his work here could be the start for some “complications”
OK, I did not know this MMP issue wih Herbert. I will forget it.
Still I can put my own production as I feel it is usefull for other mithril collectors.March 24, 2016 at 9:20 am #34277Turambar wrote:May I add something.
I often notice that some fellows “dilute” some threads with different or similar matters.
Like inside this thread.
Maybe I can suggest to open for Master Milo´s treasure a seperate one. Master Gerold will be thankful, because this is “his” catalogue page . . .Here we are
March 24, 2016 at 10:08 am #34278Thank you again for all the work you did, Master Milo.
March 24, 2016 at 10:20 am #34279It would be lovely if you share a link to those old French catalogues so I can print them and have my own “relic” copy ^^ or send them to me via pm or whatever feels more comfortable to you.
I did not knew either that you were editing additional pages to that magnificent catalogue Zoetrop did. It would also be great if you send those files to me too.
For that Herbert’s issue I do not know what happened so I will stealthy pass over it too because it seems a delicate issue, so I will forget it too.
Thanks a lot for you terrific contributions Milo ^^March 24, 2016 at 11:03 am #34281Here we are. Very gentle. And: this deserves an own thread!!!!!

May 18, 2016 at 9:13 pm #34555Hallo Theobald,
Vielen Dank!
Auch dir vielen Dank !May 18, 2016 at 9:47 pm #34557Err, as for all the others wondering about that strange language being used here, let me tell you that Master Zoetrop asked me to translate his entry here. I am very busy tonight but will translate tomorrow. It’s all about Zoetrop’s latest catalogue from 2010.
May 19, 2016 at 2:57 pm #34558So now the translation of Zoetrop’s entry:
“The second and (so far) last catalogue is from 2010, but it was completed in 2011. This is because I always stick to the copyright-references and we know that often figures from 2010 were available in 2011 for the first time.
If I got it right there is the wish to make the catalogue available as a download file here. I think that is a great idea!
Mithril stopped providing the download of the catalogue at their site for whatever reason (obviously there was not much interest in it). I think it is a pity that the catalogue is not accessible to collectors as it was always the intention that it should be so.
If Turambar agrees (so Christoph that is – pictures made by him are also in it) I can send the PDF-files to an address that I am told (size is 35 MB).”In the end he asked me to translate his entry and that’s what I just did.
May 19, 2016 at 3:05 pm #34559So, I can offer to contact Turambar because of his pictures of some of his dioramas (which are absolutely great). Then I would like to ask Master Gildor or Master Milo if one of them could find the time to install that PDF-download somewhere here on MMP.
Of course I can arrange everything necessary with Zoetrop in private so that we don’t need to do this here in detail in public. But first of all I think we need to know if there is any interest in it here. Those around here whom I once gave some copies of the first catalogue mind please, that this is about the second catalogue which of course includes and covers a bit more.
So what?
May 19, 2016 at 3:43 pm #34560Thanks Master Theobald and Zoetrop
I am waiting the new catalogue with eagernessMay 19, 2016 at 6:18 pm #34561Well Master Theobald, I think this would be very helpfull to have somewhere on MMP a link for downloading Master Zoetrop catalog. I suggest to have it in MMP galery as per adverts for instance.
Then please send my regards and all thanks to him as he is the one who initiated this tremendous work (catalog AND average prices). I will always be gratefull to him for this.
May 19, 2016 at 8:45 pm #34566Yes, Milo, I also think that it might be alright making the catalogue available here on MMP, as Zoetrop offered it.
Be sure I will not forget to pass on your words to him.
I’m just awaiting some support to justify all the effort which might be implied. -
