Now I really regret that I didn’t have the time last weekend to visit the “DUZI”, too. – Yes, “Thomarillion” really provides a lot of nice things and it’s always better to see the pieces in reality than in some online-catalogue.
October 14, 2011 at 2:53 pm #20778wow, awesome! i need to find a beer mug for the [mith]m148[/mith] troll.
October 14, 2011 at 3:12 pm #20785Then it should be made of metal, Master Cameosis. As far as I know “Thomarillion” only provides resin-castings.
October 14, 2011 at 3:27 pm #20787Sorry I have to correct you master Tree. They use to cast with ceramic-stuff (like dentist do).
Most parts are from this material.
Also they have small parts like books, beer mugs (!) and other things cast in white-metal !
Currently they switch over to resin a bit . . .October 14, 2011 at 4:39 pm #20790Never apologize for correcting me, please, Master Turambar. – You’re right to do so
October 14, 2011 at 5:09 pm #20792OK, fellows,

Then I vote for Mirliton tavern walls (http://www.mirliton.it/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=tavern&osCsid=be0645be3a888d5fe67762a05d60003f&x=0&y=0) and thomarillion furnitures.Regarding conversion, I have no skills, I can paint for others, I can build some missing diorama elements (bottles, food, …)
October 14, 2011 at 6:30 pm #20796Milo, In Thomarillion site I found this tavern :

Well, last weekend I visited the famous “DUZI”, an exhibition for miniatures and models.
I had an interesting discussion with Thomas from “thomarillion” about licenses and other stuff . . .
There are a lot of useful things at “thomarillion”, have a look:[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/32_thom_001.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/32_thom_001.jpg[/imgz]

This DUZI must be a great show… indeed !

October 15, 2011 at 9:37 am #20807I can buy and paint some furniture from Thormarillion.

Mister Turambar, are you sure that is the good scale for our mithril’s figurines? Can we command elements of decoration with no souci?
I went on their site and what they propose is really excellent, that tempts and full of ideas ๐October 15, 2011 at 11:11 am #20810Hey, everybody … did you witness??? – It was Master Zoetrop, our dear “value tracker” who offered his help with this project.
It’s so great to have you around here, Master Zoetrop. Thank you.October 15, 2011 at 12:10 pm #20813Yes, I saw him Master Ent. The only thing I don’t see is his name on the list of the participants? Hmm…. good to have you around Master Zoetrop! I can imagine you sitting at a table with your book (katalog) in front of you holding a purse… ๐
October 15, 2011 at 12:13 pm #20814What do you think my friend?
October 15, 2011 at 2:49 pm #20817absolutely correct, Master Hsf62, that really matches his part in the PP … though he shouldn’t be holding a purse as all he did, he always did it for free …. we really shouldn’t forget the silent “Value tracker”, I think.
October 15, 2011 at 3:01 pm #20818So, if this project is to be assembled in Germany, I suggest it should be for Master Zotrop !
October 15, 2011 at 9:29 pm #20822I’m not sure if I’m going mad or blind, but was there not a list of characters equating to each participant? I’ve gone through the thread a coupe of times but didn’t see it.
I’m sure that I was supposed to be some kind of man at arms or something and based on that I have a spare M6 which I could convert. If in the meantime someone can point out this list (if it exists) I would appreciate it
While on the subject of the diorama I recall someone posted a link to a company web site with a very nice resin(?) inn kit which I am sure featured a couple of levels and possibly a cellar. Does anyone remember this and where it was originally posted – either on MMP or Mithril’s forum. It was probably a year or two ago, I didn’t save the company’s web site details

The final choice will depend especially on the adopted plan and on the figurine which would most easily be convertible. As I don’t know how to make a conversion, I count on you to help me to make a definitively choise. So i found :
M400 If I can sit with a beer mug….. (and I have one)
LR40 (I haven’t it)
M191 : I have one but I don’t know how we could make a conversion being in an tavern
And the last one : M209 (I haven’t it)
If you have ideas to help me to choose I would be most grateful to you for this :D:DMilo wrote:I found another candidate for tavern: mirliton miniatures:

I like this tavern too. If we decide to buy this tavern for our project and if the others would be interested for their own tavern, We could maybe make a group purchase? There are reductions on the total amount??
Mistress Sevlag ebay item number: 120793931973 LR40, but shipping looks high – I think this is the company that Mithril have done a deal with as they are posting a lot of items .
