i’d have a question regarding the [mith]m145[/mith] figure: i have two versions, one with two alternative heads and a »regular« one, cast in two pieces (mouth of sauron and horse).
does anybody know which was the first version and how they compare rarity wise? thanks a lot.

August 10, 2011 at 3:17 pm #19344Ah, yes! I can help you, Master of Funk Music!
The m145 is the original figure, from the range: “Gorgoroth”.
This figure was released with two different heads. As far as I am told, this “edition” is pretty rare
and everybody could be lucky owning this figure (me included! 😎 ) .The other one seems to be the MC 24! Mithril re-released some figures as co called Mithril-Classics.
Against your oppinion, this miniature is NOT the original one, though there is m142 under the horses´base . . .
But the head is fixed with the corpus. And that prooves the MC-edition.
This is contrare to what Gildor told in his database. The head of the MC24 is defenetly ONE piece with the corpus. So, that´s all I know about shrimps . . . as Master Forest Gump would tell . . . 😆
By the way: a fantastic horse!
August 10, 2011 at 3:25 pm #19345the original one has four parts, two heads, horse and body, as said in the reference sheet.
maybe the one with only one head is the MC24 re-release in mithril classics? and the mc24 is not rare at all
I think the version with two heads is the rarest
August 10, 2011 at 3:26 pm #19346thanks a lot!

This is what I said, isn´t it . . .
March 13, 2012 at 8:24 pm #23446I know I am reviving an old thread but…. is there somebody around who could provide me a close-up picture of the two heads (unpainted) of the M145
I have them myself but painted and hard to get a good pic.. Thanks in advance
March 13, 2012 at 10:07 pm #23447ups.. I didn’t know that. I have the figure in two versions, each with one head. Do you mind if I take the photos with the heads already mounted on their respective minis? if it’s ok, I can try to take some close photos this week.
March 13, 2012 at 10:41 pm #23448I can do that, Master Gildor. I still keep an old one with both heads added with the original sprews to the body.
Sub-reference reads “M 145 B I” from 1990 (if I got that right – missing my magnifying glasses). Must be that one you’re asking for. – As for close-up pics I need better weather for taking pics. Nevertheless, it’s on my agenda for the coming weekend. So, I’ll do what I can. – Would be nice to have Master Imisel’s pictures, too. Quite interesting that is.March 13, 2012 at 10:49 pm #23449You mean that figure . . . ?

PS: oh, the Tree also wanted to post pictures . . . O.K- do it !
March 14, 2012 at 8:20 pm #23454ah your pic is perfect Turambar, but I’d need a closeup on the heads actually
(it is not for me, it’s for a special request from the Man actually… Believe it or not, neither Mithril nor Chris have a copy nore pictures of the two heads anymore oO that’s a rarity…)
March 14, 2012 at 9:01 pm #23455I’ll take the close up of heads tomorrow afternoon if possible, Gildor.
March 18, 2012 at 10:39 am #23478Well, it’s weekend and so there are those pictures. I just hope they come close to what you wanted, Master Gildor.
